I ran into my class late. Last night was yet another sleepless night. I had sent Hoseok home around 1 in the morning. He insisted on staying but I forced him to go. I wasn't able to go back to sleep till about an hour before my alarm went off.

And that's how I ended up sleeping through my alarm and running to my first class 30 minutes late.

I slowed down before I walked in the door and tried to be as quiet as possible, hoping no ones attention would be drawn to me. However, once again, my prayers were not answered as a booming voice came from the teacher. Who wasn't even facing me.

"Miss Aria, Late once again I see."

"Sorry, I didn't get much sleep last night and slept through my alarm." I whispered out the words, hoping he could hear. Cheeks blazing I saw movement across the room. of course it was him.

Hoseok was there waving over at me with a large smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile back.

"Well Aria, this isn't the first time you've been late and given me some lame excuse." the professor finally turned around and I could see his cold eyes and stone face. "Why don't you just not come next time you're late."

"But sir,"

"Sir, please don't be so hard on her. She was sick last night, and probably didn't get much sleep." Hoseok shot up from his chair and my eyes widened.

"And how would you know this?"

"I was helping her. I honestly didn't even think she would be able to make it in today." He shot me a worried glance at his last words and I'm suddenly glad that he is standing up for me.

"Hoseok, Aria, Please sit down," The professor turned back around and I began to walk towards my chair. "Oh and Aria, lets have a chat after class."

"yes sir." I scrambled to my chair and put my head down in embarrassment. I should be used to it now as this isn't my first, nor will it be my last time walking into a class late. I just can't seem to get used to the attention that comes with it.

I sat for the rest of class eagerly paying attention. It was chemistry, my favorite subject. I was in my own little head paying no attention to the outside world until something hit me in the back of the head. Startled, I jumped and noticed a balled up paper on my desk. Looking around, no one was paying attention, However, Hoseok was looking wildly around the room trying to avoid my eyes. He stopped and looked at me raising his eyebrows for me to open the crumpled ball. I shook my head at him but still opened it up and read his messy scribble.

How are you feeling today? Have you eaten? You know you shouldn't have come if you felt sick.

Without even noticing, a large grin stretched across my face. I quickly scribbled my response and threw it back when the teacher wasn't paying any attention.

I'm feeling much better today, thanks for the soup by the way. It was great. I'm fine honestly.

I saw him frantically reading it and smiling back at me before writing a quick response. He threw it and I quickly opened and read it.

Ok, just making sure. By the way I'm gonna wait for you to get done talking with the professor and then walk you to wherever you have to go next.

Smiling I crumpled up the paper in my hand before turning to Hoseok and giving him a thumbs up.  HIs face brightens up even more, if possible, and we both patiently wait for the class to end.

When it finally did I quickly walked up to my professor to see what he wanted.

"OK Aria, I'm not mad at you. I understand your situation and know that you're going to be late sometimes, I just need to make a scene like that so it doesn't look like I'm favoring anyone."

I nodded, "I understand sir, no hard feelings."

"Does anyone else know about this?"

I sighed and my shoulders slumped. "No, only the teachers and my close friend Namjoon."

My professor nodded and dismissed me but before I could leave, he stopped me once more. "Oh, please tell Hoseok not to pull a stunt like that again. If he does, I'll need a talk with him." He smiled and I nodded as I finally reached the door.

Stepping out I saw Hoseok standing there, just as he had promised. He looks up and his face instantly stretches into his breathtaking smile.

"Ready to go?" He swung an arm around my shoulders and I immediately tensed up, I was only really used to Namjoon being so friendly with me.

"Yup, I don't have any other classes so I guess you can take me back to my dorm."

"Or I can take you to the studio since I have dance practice." He stopped and his smile was replaced with a worried look, "That's only if you want to of course, I can always take you back to your dorm so you can rest." There was a quick moment of silence. It's not that I was thinking about what I wanted, I already knew I wanted to watch him dance. It was more out of shock. I honestly didn't think Hoseok would feel comfortable enough with inviting me to his practice.

A large smile spread across my face and I began walking, "take me to the studio twinkle toes."

A booming laugh echoes from behind me and I could've sworn the sun became brighter and the air fresher. "Alright, but maybe you should turn around then hun."

I stopped in my tracks and turned, "Huh?"

"Wrong way." He reached out for my hand and started pulling me in the right direction.

The day may have started bad, But I could tell it was beginning to get better.
