||The Next Day...||

Kat: Hey, have you guys seen Jaycee lately? I need to, uh, talk to her?

Scorpius: *shakes his head* Haven't seen her since last night when Albus and I were talking to her.

Kat: What did she say? *there was urgency in her voice*

Albus: *shrugs* Nothing really urgent. We were all just talking about our family and friends outside of school.

Kat: *facepalms* Oh no... This might just be a little bit bad.

Scorpius: *light nervous laugh* With Jaycee it's either all good, or really bad. There is no in between and there never will be.

Kat: Oh crap... *talking to self* But she wouldn't do anything like that.... Maybe she just, I dunno...

Albus: Knowing her, she's probably by the lake.

Kat: no, No, NO! *grows louder in every "no"*

Ari: *She appears in her wheelchair from around the corner, her eyebrows furrowing when she sees Kat.* E-Everything ok...?

Scorpius: *growing worried* W-What's wrong, Kat?

Kat: I-I gotta go look for her! *starts to head out of the great hall*

Scorpius: *shouts to her* Kat wait! *runs after Kat*

Albus: Scorpius! You can't just run off without me! *sprints to his best friend*

Kat: *turns to Scorpius, seeming a little annoyed* What? *taps foot on the ground*

Scorpius: I'm going with you.

Kat: Uh, no you're not. *matter-of-fact tone*

Ari: O-ok, then... *She started towards an empty seat at the end of the table, rubbing her red palms. They started to hurt after a few days of her sitting in the wheelchair.*

Scorpius: *blatantly ignoring Ari* Yes I am. Jay is my friend too.

Kat: Do you think I don't know that? Something happened between us, and I need to fix it. Alone. And I am really sorry about this.

Scorpius: Wha--?

Kat: *pushes Scorpius away from her, into Albus so he (and Albus) falls down* *sprints down to the lake*

Albus: *to Scorpius* Woah, sorry bro, no homo.

Ari: Some friends you are.. *She mumbles, playing with her ferret on the table in front of her. She tossed the ball of cotton to the other side of the table, the red ferret bringing it back in its front paws, waddling on its hind legs*

~At the Lake~

Plot Twist: Jaycee isn't here.

~In the Hogwarts Castle~

Plot Twist: Jaycee isn't here either.

||After a whole day||

Kat: *to Scorpius, Albus, and Ari* I can't find her anywhere!

Ari: *Her hands were now bandaged from her having to push herself everywhere. Her palms were starting to burn.*

Scorpius: *looking quite disheveled* Has anyone found Jaycee?
