Katlyn was walking down the sidewalk and stopped at the end, the corner of Main St. and Windy Rd. She looked down the sidewalk she had come to, and saw her best friend running up, "Ey, Kat," he said, no where near out of breath.
"Sup, Johnny!" Katlyn said smiling.
"How do you manage to be here at the exact same time everyday?"
"Because I'm always waking up at the same time, and walking at the same speed."
"I don't know how you do it," and with that they started to walk to school.////////////////////////////////////////////
"I have another 'thing' with my dad today, gotta keep watch again," Johnny told Katlyn at lunch, with a sad look on his face.
"I'm coming this time," Katlyn replied
"Why? You never want to come with me to my 'missions'"
"Someone has to tell your dad that you don't want to be in his gang"
"He'd kill me if he knew I wanted to be a singer!"
"You are so cut out for it though!"
"You can come, but you're not telling him."
"Fine, but if I did what would you do?" The cat asked.
"I wouldn't talk to you for a week." Her gorilla friend replied.
"Well I couldn't live with that!" She said, and started eating. She would go help her friend keep watch, it's what friends were for, right?
