[Chapter 13] Butterflies and Fireworks

Lucas's POV:

I open the door to my dorm and Riley is still sleeping.

She is so adorable!

After my morning run, I got into the shower and took less than ten minutes. Josh called me on the phone yesterday saying something about wanting to talk to me. Who knows why?

I quickly slipped on some dark denim jeans, a plain white T-shirt, black converse and my leather jacket.

I jumped in my car and drove to I Hop. where Josh had told me to meet him. I parked my car in the last empty space and walked in.

There he was sitting there in a red plaid shirt and regular black jeans. He saw me and we gave each other the bro handshake and hug.

"So, what's going on between you and Maya?" I asked sitting down deciding what to order.

"Bro, she is honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me" he smiled "Thank you"

"For what?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion

"If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be with her right now" his face turned serious. I smiled at him and a waitress came over to our table.

"What can I get for you handsome boys today?"

"Crepes with french toast, on the wide bacon and for a drink some milk please"

"For me, some Belgian Waffles, combo and along with some bacon and eggs, please"

She wrote down our order and winked at me. Before she left she slipped a small piece of paper under a plate. After she left I cringed at the wink she gave me and looked under the plate. (805) - 265 - 2222 was written on the piece of paper.

"Looks like she gave you her phone number" Josh laughed

"Yeah" I said awkwardly. The waitress walked by again and winked at me again. She took the order from the people next to us and I smirked. I slowly grabbed the piece of paper and ripped it into little piece while she glanced over at me. I shook my head and looked back at Josh who just kept chuckling.

"I'm guessing your not interested" he laughed

"No, I'm not. I like, someone else" I looked down at my phone

"Who?" I looks up at his eyes widened. "You like Riley" he yells out causing everyone around us to lol our direction. He quickly looked at everyone "Go back to whatever you were doing" he yells at everyone as he stands up

"So you like my niece?" He smirks. Hearing her name made me smile, and looks down at my hands.

"When are you going to ask her out" he blurts out

"How'd you know?" I smirk. Do I really like Riley? What am I kidding, I just get nervous around her.

Shit! I think I do

"You get that little spark in your eye every time you look at her" he straight or tells me. I'm completely shocked at what he just said. Is it that obvious? "You know what, party tonight at my place. Bring Riley, and I'll bring Maya and invite your bros and I'll invite my bros. Tonight is about to get deal crazy" he smirks

Our food finally arrives and it's a totally different waitress this time. Thank god
We finish our food and say goodbye to each other leaving the restaurant.

After what seemed like a forever drive I walk into my dorm only to find Riley almost naked.

"Ahhh" she screams while having a towel wrapped around her

"Shit, sorry Riley. I-I'll just, yeah" I walk into the closet until Riley is finished changing. Damm she has a hot little body

"Riley, get ready"

"Why?"

"Because josh is throwing a party at his place. Now go, we leave in two hours. Wear something casual"

"Riley hurry up, let's go" I swear girls take forever to get ready. I don't see why?

"Ugh, I look awful" she opens the door and I find her wearing a red blouse, dark denim jeans and a leather jacket. I raise my eyebrow at why she just said awful. I rubbed my chin with my fingers....she looks hot.

"Awful?" I smirk at Riley

"Yes, awful" She sighs

"You look Hot, Sugarplum" I tell her and her face turns tomato red. I can't anymore. Her lips look so delicious and plump. I walk over towards and wrap my arms around her waist.

Riley's POV:

Lucas has his arms around my waist and millions of butterflies erupt in my stomach. Why does this feel so right? Why?

I look into his piercing grey eyes, which look so innocent. Why is this guy doing to me? My eyes flicker to his lips and back to his eyes.

I can't think? I can't breathe? Why is my heart pounding so fast and hard? Lucas was kissing me!

Lucas is kissing me and its feels so right in the world!

I melt from the softness and tenderness of his kiss. Everything around me disappears as I feel the warmth of the kiss. It feels like my body is on fire from the way he touches my body. Something tells me to get closer to him and he starts to deepen the kiss. His grip on my waist tightens and he lifts me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. To not make me fall he places his hands on my butt, but I'm totally okay with it.

No amount of butterflies or fireworks can compare to this feelings Im feeling with Lucas's lips moving in sync with mine.

This is the only thing I needed in this world. To be held and kissed by this amazing guy – passionately and amazingly......
