Chapter Two

[Maddie's pov]

I walked to English Class slowly, and shyly. I still didn't know anyone here besides Nicole and I guess, Dylan. I decided to text Nicole, considering I didn't want to spend the rest of my day looking like a lonely bitch.

Maddie: Nic, where are you?! I'm alone here.

Nicole: I'm heading to my first class, idiot. I have History and you have English. We're gonna be separated quiet a bit so I suggest you make some other friends. x

Nicole: Oh and also tell me everything Dylan said !!!!!

Maddie: Well uhm he said he hopes to see me at his sorority house party tonight

Nicole: SEE , I told you you'd get invited to a sorority party on the first day ! I am so inviting myself .

Maddie: Was hoping you'd say that 😂😂

Nicole: Well good luck on the friends thing , love ya !

Maddie: Me too !

I was looking down on my phone when I ran into a tall, buff guy. His body was strong enough that when I bumped into him, I fell onto the floor.

"Sorry babe," the guy said, as he reached out his hand for me to grab it.

"No, no it's okay. I didn't pay attention to where I was going, my fault," I replied.

"You're right." He said. I eyed him, and then he laughed, "Hey loosen up, babe I'm kidding. So you must be new here."

"How did you know?" I asked him.

"I haven't seen you around before,"

"Really? Maybe you just forgot how I looked like, there are thousands of students around here, ya know?" I argued.

"No, no. I've never seen you. I wouldn't forget a pretty face like that," he flirted.

"You hitting on me?" I asked.

"Hahah, I'm just kidding around. My name is Jack by the way. Jack Anderson Irwin," he said.

"Nice name. I'm maddie. Maddie Marie Johnson,"

"Cool. So, where you headed?" Jack asked.

"English."

"English is that way, babe. No worries, I'll show you where it is, it's where i'm headed anyways," he said, as he walked in front of me and I followed right behind him.

We walked into the room and took our seats. I was surprised when I saw Dylan.

"Ay dyl, what's up?" Jack said as he headed towards Dylan's desk and gave him a friendly hug. Jack then motioned for me to come foward, "Dyl, this is maddie." Jack introduced.

"I know. We've met, I invited her to tonight's sorority party." Dylan said, with a smirk. "Hey, princess."

"Hi." I replied, blushing at the world 'princess'.

He got out of his seat and walked nearer to me, once again, his face was only inches away from mine. Jack looked at us, his expression; unreadable. Dylan then picked up my hand, and wrote his number on the palm. He then smirked and sat back down to his seat.
