"Gavin!" mom called. "Come and eat." "Okay, fine." He told his mom. "What is it?" he asked. "It is magical mystery soup." She replied happily. "But why?" He asked. "Um....." she hesitated "Well I called it that because it is made of all different things. Also, the recipe is a mystery. "Mom when will dad get back?" Gavin asked sadly. "Tomorrow." She told him. As soon as you finish brush your teeth and get PJs on. Tomorrow is a big day.
Later that night, Gavin could not fall asleep. As if something in his gut was telling him something was wrong. So he thought maybe some cold water would work. As he was going down the stairs he noticed his mom. Why would she be out so late? Then, he looked around and there were most of his mother's friends. They were acting strangely. Gavin waited trying to eavesdrop. "We need to find all the magical beings." His mom said. "What shall we do?" Asked Sally. "Search the block all we need to find is, a unicorn, mermaid, fairy, witch, dragon, alien, wizard, and griffon." Said their master in a deep tone. "Yes, sir," they replied.
Gavin crept up the stairs. He could not believe what he heard. Or what he saw. Who could that Mystery Man be and why does he want all of those magical beings? One thing is for sure. He had to stop whose behind this. But how?
