New Finding

    One day Mark one of Gavin's friends came rushing up to him. Gavin had talked to him before about his mom's meeting but Mark didn't believe him.  Now he did. He told Gavin about the night before. He heard his mom talking about how she had already set up plans for the fall break to go to the California Coast. So they could catch the mermaid. And they weren't alone. Mia came and said only a few weeks ago they were talking to. Something about that they would go a mile away from the coast and would find where the mermaid lived.

  Now they had to get a plan. Somehow they would have to distract their moms and someone goes get the mermaid. But he was sure it was no one man job. So they started to meet on Thursday every three weeks.

 After a month they finally had a good plan. Early in the morning, they would go out kayaking, in which they had money to rent one, then Mark would keep watch because he didn't know how to swim. They would have enough oxygen to last them five hours and from there they would try their best to find the mermaid first.  

  A few weeks before fall break we heard big news from Mark the last meeting they said they were going to leave a four hours after the time they would which would leave them plenty of time to get the mermaid and get out of there. Mia was worried though. She called a meeting. "Everyone I know we have a great plan but we need to think of one last thing," she paused,"where are we going to put the mermaid?" "Oh, I guess that we didn't think of that." Replied Mark. "But I did." Gavin said. "We will ask the mermaid to stay with us in our meeting spot. I built a place were the mermaid could feel at home. From there during the rest of the year we will build a camouflaged treehouse. All of the creatures we find  will go there but not the bigger ones." He said which ended the meeting.
