Natsu's Return (Nalu Fanfiction)

Chapter 8

Natsu's Pov:

We set up camp and it really started to piss me off that Gray kept staring at her.

"Luce sit next to me okay?" I smiled.

"Okay." She smiled sweetly.

I love it when she smiles.

We sat down by the camp fire and Lucy sat by me and I saw her a little sad.

"You okay?" I whispered.

"Huh?"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah I just miss people in the gluid."

"And I know this is painful for you to talk about Luce but I was wondering if you'll tell me about when you dated Sting. "

"I-"

"Please tell me. I wanna know. Please Lucy.." I whispered into her ear.

She stuttered "Uh W-We dated right after Fairy Tail disbanded. For about 3 weeks he was my everything but I got suspicious because he always said that he was too busy at the gluid to hang out so I followed him and to find out he'd had been making out with Yukno."

"Oh." I saw tears sparkling in her eyes.

"Then I'm glad I beat the crap out of him. " I smiled and she looked at me and smiled

"Me too. "

Lucy's Pov:

Natsu made me nervous. Everytime he whispered into my ear. He's voice smooth and husky sent a shiver down my spine.

Eveyone went to bed and we stayed up and looked at the sunset.

"It's beautiful." Natsu said.

"Yeah it really is."

I heared him mumble something.

"Did you say something?"

"Nothing."

"Oh, sorry I thought you did." I chuckled nervously.

I sat on my log my hands at me sides looking out at the sunset. I felt his hand touch mine and it was like a shock of electricity going through us.

We quickly jerked our hands back.

"Sorry." We smiled at each other nervously.

Natsu's Pov:

"I should go to bed. Goodnight Natsu." She hugged me.

I hugged her back "Goodnight, Luce. Sweet dreams."

I let her go and yawned.

She took a sleeping bag out of her backpack.

I wish so that I could hold her in my arms tight.
