Chapter 12

Lucy's Pov:

I looked around and saw a picnic basket and blanket with everything set up.

"WHAT THE HELL NATSU YOU SCARED ME THE CRAP OUT OF ME!"

"Sorry." He said softly and didn't look me in the eyes he was holding something and he threw it at me.

Flowers?

Dandelions... my favorite

"I'm sorry I was such a jerk to you Luce." He said slowly looking into my eyes.

"No, I'm sorry. I was jealous." I looked down

"What?" He sat next to me lifting my face up to look at him.

"I was jealous because I thought Lisanna was going to take you away from me. I'm so sorry Natsu." I said in a tiny voice.

"Hey, hey I was jealous too okay. When I saw Gray had his arm over you. I thought he tried to take you away from me so I wanted to get you away from him but when you refused I got pissed so I walked out. I went to go back inside but I you run past me with tears in your eyes and I knew I messed up. I went after you but it seemed you locked your window. So Luce this is how I make it up to you." I put the flowers and hugged him.

"Oh, Natsu." He hugged me and held me tight.

"I love you Natsu." I said.

"I love you more." He kissed me and I kissed him back.

"Did I hear you were jealous Lucy?"

"Really Natsu. Your unbelievable." I walked over to the picnic but he grabbed my hand and made him look at me.

"Let me go!"

"No, I'm not until you listen what I gotta say."

"Okay." I huffed.

"Lucy, You have the whole right to be jealous.  I'm always jealous. I was jealous even before now. Everyone in the gluid wanted you as there partner. Everyone wanted your body to hold.  Everyone and I was glad I added you to our team. It was the best thing ever. I began to fall for you and my love for you got bigger and bigger but I never had the guts to tell you. After all this time your finally mine and I waited and waited and for this moment. But remember this, I will never ever love anymore more than you. Lisanna damn her. I knew she always liked me but I only thought as her as a friend. Nothing more. I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you. I never want to see you cry, or hurt, or upset because I can't live without you. Damn the other people Luce because I'm YOURS and Your MINE!"

I hugged him "That's all I needed to hear."

"Alright, I bet your hungry."

"Yes, Sir!"

He took my hand and led me the picnic.

"Pick anything you want."

I smirked and I grabbed the picnic basket and he laughed.

"Hey, leave some for me!"

"You said I can pick anything." I giggled

"I didn't mean everything!" He laughed.

"I'm just kidding." I put it down and sat next to him.

I grabbed some food and I ate. I didn't realized how hungry I was.

Natsu stared at me.

"What?" I said with my mouth full.

"Nothing, it's just that your so cute when your eating like a pig."

"You bastard!" I yelled shallowing everything in my mouth and threw an apple at him laughing.

He grabbed it and bit it.

"Your no fun!"

"Yes, I am well in bed."

"You pervert"

"I'm just kidding!"

"I know."

Natsu had not grabbed anything to eat and I looked at him worried "Aren't you going to eat?"

"No, because like I told you this is to make it up for you. Ill wait until you're finished."

"Natsu I love you, but don't do that to yourself. Eat because I'm not going to eat this all by myself."

"Really? Are you sure?"

"Natsu, I know you. Eat."

"Okay." He grumbled and started eating.

I smiled and continued eating until I was full.

I felt sleepy and yawned.

Natsu pulled my near him and I sat my head on his shoulder and quickly we stared at the sunset together.

"Natsu?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

"I love you more."

"When you left. I was alone, broken, shattered. My whole world turned upside down. I lost Aquarius, I lost the guild, I lost you, and I was so lonely. I lost everything I ever cared about. Everything I ever had. I searched and searched until you came back and I couldn't believe my life was actually turning back around because I had something I really cared about come back into my life. For that I can't lose you again. It'll break me."

"You know I really sometimes wanted to quit and just give up but you know why I never gave up."

"Why?"

"You were the reason I kept going because I knew I was going to see that gorgeous face of yours when I returned."

I blushed and he kissed my cheek softly.

"I'm so glad I'm yours."

"I'm so glad your mine." I yawned and fell into a peaceful sleep.

Natsu's Pov:

I laid her on the ground next to me and removed her hair from her face.

Oh, what did I do to deserve you Luce?
