Natsu's Return (Nalu Fanfiction)

Chapter 3

Natsu's Pov:

She smiled her face a bit pink.

We walked back to camp and Happy was there waiting for us.

"Don't ask." We both said at the same time then we looked at each other and we bursted out laughing.

"You two are so wierd."

"No we're not!" We yelled in unison again.

"Whatever, let's pack up and start moving."

"I got this guys." Lucy said.

"What?"

"I've done alot of things since you guys left and don't so surprised. I'll be able to pack this up in less then 1 minute.

"Alright. Go!"

Then Lucy ran all over the camp cleaning it as if we were never there.

She packed my pack and put a blanket back inside and I had it over my back in 3 seconds.

Then she put out the fire and smirked
"Done."

"That took like 5 minutes." Happy teased.

"If you'd pack all this up it would have taken the whole day so shut it Happy." She sneered.

"Lucy's mean Natsu!" He started fake crying flying over by me.

"It's okay Happy," I rubbed his head slowly "You see what you did Lucy, you made him cry."

"Whatever, Let's go."

"Great, Happy you pissed her off."

"Lucy! I'm sorry!" He flew by her but she kept walking pretending she couldn't hear him.

She smirked at Happy.

Then we reached a town that was huge.

"We should rent a hotel room."

"Yeah, but on the edge of town so we can easily leave tomorrow."

"Okay."

We searched for a hotel and we found one.

Lucy's Pov:

"Hello, the attendant

"Hi, can we have 2 rooms please."

"Two, but we only have one and there is only bed per room."

"We'll take that one than."

"Here's your key and that'll be 50 jewels."

"Okay here you go."

"Thanks."

"Enjoy your stay."

One bed. Just peachy...

We walked into the room

"It's nice."I commented putting the key inside my pocket.

"Let's go explore the city." Happy chirped.

"Yeah, let's go Lucy."

"Okay, okay. I'm going." I said smiling opening the door and we came out of the hotel and we explored the city.

Natsu's Pov

Lucy bought a bookbag with some clothing and food for the trip.

Then she stopped at a store and her eyes wide looking at a necklace.

I walked by her ask whispered "What's wrong?"

"Ahh, so I see you have an eye for fine jewelry young lady," Lucy stood still and nodded, "Well this piece belong a very rich women named Layla Heartfillia."

Her mom.

"Yeah, I know." She croaked

"Oh, really. How come?"

"Because that was my mother's necklace."

"Your lady Lucy Heartfillia." He gasped.

"Don't call me that. I'm Lucy from Fairy Tail."

"Well then, Lucy. Here." He handed her the necklace in a bag.

"Huh? What?"

"If it was your mother's then I think it belongs to you now."

"Thank you." Tears formed in her eyes and some slipped from her eyes.

She rubbed them out of her eyes and she finally answered me "I'm fine. No worries." She stopped and put the necklace inside her bookbag and I took her over to another store in which the man kept staring at her.

"Oi, why you staring at her for?" I snapped.

"She's Lucy Heartfillia. She's on the front page of Wizard Weekly." The man stuttered.

"What?" Lucy turned and said yelled "Give me a copy." He gave her a copy and she stared at it.

"Natsu, look."

It was the front cover and it was Lucy wearing a blue dress looking out into the sunset and on the top it said "Lucy Heartfillia: Hottest Mage of the Month."

"Omg! Lucy that's awesome!" I hugged her.

"Your Natsu Dragneel right?" The man asked.

"Yeah."

"There 1 whole article about your return at the Grand Magic Games and about how you spelled Fairy Tail with the symbol on fire on the castle"

"What?! So that's what you did!" She yelled at me.

"Wow. Give me a copy." He handed me a copy and I found it.

"Natsu, now everyone gonna see you and gonna see your symbol and see Fairy Tail's coming back!"

"Yeah." I smiled at her and she hugged me and Happy flew in and we showed him everything and the man said "Can I get an autograph?".

"Why not?" We said in unison and we signed the man's magazine.

We walked out of the store reading the magazine and there was a concert in the town square and we went to the front and the director of the concert looked worried.

"Is their something wrong sir?"

"Yes, our girl that was suppose to play the panio bailed on us at the last minute."

"Oh, is there anything we can do it help?"

"Can you play?" He asked Lucy.

"Yeah."

"You can?" I was surprised.

"Yeah, I've had alot of time when you guys left.

"Oh." My ears turned a bright red.

She got up on the stage and waved to the crowd and started playing a song

Everyone started clapping and started to leave when she finished.

"You were amazing." The director beamed.

"Thanks." Lucy smiled.

It was starting to get late so I tapped Lucy on the shoulder and said "Let's go it's getting really late."

"Alright." And we started walking to the hotel and Lucy ran in before us and when we came in I heared the shower on and I yawned and went to sleep on the floor in which I fell into a peaceful darkness or so I thought.
