Chapter 4

Natsu Pov:

~ Dream ~

I was on Tenrou Island

What?

Where's Lucy and Happy?

I walked forward and Zeref appeared

"Natsu." Zeref whispered.

"You know that blond haired girl wait what's her name..... Oh Lucy?" He walked around me as he said that.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER! OF YOU EVEN LAID A FINGER ON HER. ILL KILL YOU!"

He moved away from where he was standing and I saw Lucy on the ground groaning.

"Natsu," Her eyes pleading with tears "Help me."

Zeref kicked her and she screamed

"Leave her alone!"

"Say goodbye Natsu." Zeref said with a wicked smile

"What? No!"

"Any last words Lucy?"

She got up and she whispered into my ear.

I love you

Then she kissed me and the next thing I knew she fell into my arms gasping.

"I wanted to have more adventures. It's more fun when we're all together."

"Nooooo Luce don't talk like that. I won't let you die!"

She smiled "No one has control over that Natsu."

"Then I love you too much to let you die!"

"I know but remember me." Then she closed her eyes and died in my arms.

"NOOOOOOOOO! LUCYYYYYY!" I screamed.

~Dream Ended ~

I got up and tears ran down my cheeks.

It was a dream.

Only a dream.

Thank God!

Lucy's Pov:

I came out of the bathroom fully clothed. My hair wet and soaking my clothes but I really didn't care. I felt tired but sleep didn't come.

I've been through alot today and I couldn't sleep.

I sighed and I started to sing a bit."

"Looking all around.

Do my eyes deseve me?

All was wrong, came right in a blink of an eye

Is it destiny or fate?

Or is it plain luck

I yawned and I tried again I felt even more awake.

I sighed and I opened my bookbag.

I took out the necklace ran my fingers over it "You miss her alot don't you?"

I gasped and Natsu stood sleepy beside me.

"You scared me."

"Sorry." He smiled.

"Yeah, I do. Maybe that's why I can't sleep."

"Hmm. Probably."

"I wonder why that man had it?"

"Maybe my dad had to sell it when he lost the house."

"Oh." I put the necklace back into my backpack careful not to break it.

"Why can't you sleep Natsu?" I said when I turned around.

"I had a nightmare."

"What about?" I looked at him worried.

"Um..." He closed his eyes his fist clenched.

"Natsu, you can tell me" I grabbed his hand and pulled him to sit next to me.

"I dreamt about you getting killed by Zeref." His voice strained I could see the tears dropping from his eyes.

Oh Natsu

I looked into his eyes and I put his hand on my heart

"Feel it?"

He nodded

"I'm here. Nothing to worry about."

"I know." He looked into my eyes took my hand "I promise I'll protect you and I'll never let anything happen to you."

"I know you'll keep that promise." I squeezed his hand and he sat on the bed and pulled me close to him and hugged me tight.

I felt sleepy. I yawned and he did too.

He didn't let go and I didn't want him to.

Then I realized why I couldn't sleep. It was because I needed that warmth only Natsu could give me.

"Luce, you don't mind right?" Natsu said between yawns.

"No, not at all." I said while falling asleep in his embrace.
