AN. Hey, I don't know if you have read any of my other books but if you have, you may have noticed that they are pretty immature and not well written at all. Especially my older ones.
So, this book is a bit of a break from updating those, it'll be darker, have more of a storyline and also (hopefully) be much more well written.
I will also need lots of ideas in the comments on which direction this book should go, I don't want to write something that people don't wish to read so reader input is always appreciated.

It had all gone wrong. That was the only possible way that Kid Flash could put it. Everything had gone completely and utterly wrong. A disaster, heavy on the dis, as Robin would put it. Robin, his best friend, the person they were meant to protect.
Of course, the team had no idea it was Robin, as far as they knew the boy who had been kidnapped was meerly 'some rich billionaire brat'. The ginger ran a hand over his face, this had gone so wrong. All they had to do was watch over Dick Grayson, Bruce Wayne's ward, but somehow the situation spiralled out of control.
One minute Dick Grayson was at the party, the next second everyone was on the floor, hands on their heads. The team had been in their civvies and so they were unable to intervene. Aqualad had immidiatly pressed the button on a small device Batman had given him, he had been instructed to press the button in case anything happened. Wally West looked over to his best friend, fear flashing across his features as tall men holding AK47s  looked around the room, every now and then, a teenager would be grabbed and yanked to the front of the room, all of which were from wealthy families.
It was only a matter of time before one of the men walked over to Richard Grayson, smirking down at him, "Hey boys! Look who's over 'ere! It's Wayne's little brat!" He called out before proudly grabing Dick's raven hair and roughly dragging him to the front of the room with the others. Dick rolled his eyes and sighed, "Seriously? Another kidnapping? This is getting boring, you guys better do something interesting instead of the usual 'I want money, pay money and we let the kid go' thing"
One of the men growled, pointing the gun inbetween Dick's shoulder blades. "Don't make me pull the trigger, kid." He growled, causing Richard to go silent.
Suddenly, the front doors opened and Slade Wilson stalked in. All colour on Richard's face immidiatly drained and his cocky smirk was replaced with a look of pure horror. "Get them all into the vans." Slade commanded, "Send them to the place you were instructed to. We'll soon have them ready."

5 Weeks later

Five weeks after the event and still, no-one had heard from Dick Grayson or Robin. Batman hadn't left the Batcave ever since he had been informed of Robin's dissapearance. His search had become increasingly more rushed as bodies of the kidnapped teens began to show up over Gotham. First Casey Jones, then Finn Lynch, one by one the lifeless bodies of the kidnapped children were finding their ways back home, appearing at their parents doorsteps, all bloody and broken.

Bruce refused to let this happen to his son, he only slept and ate if completely necessary, he never left the Batcomputer. He couldn't. He had to find Richard.

Things were far worse for Richard. He didn't have any idea what day it was, it felt like he had been stuck in this place for years. In his first few days of being in this hell hole, he'd discovered that Slade Wilson was looking for a protégé. Training had began immidiatly. All 30 teenagers had been sent into their own cells and had been trained physically and mentally, they had each been taughed self defense and had been taught how to shut out emotions. Within two weeks the majority of the teenagers were emotionally crippled, desperate to go home and leave this place. Few of the teens could cope with everything, one of these few being Richard Grayson.
On the third week, Deathstroke had been taking two teens a day, forcing them to fight to the death. The survivor went on to the next day, the one killed was returned home.

Richard sat in his cell, staring at the dirty white walls and the grey tiled floor. The room was a small box, about two meters wide and two meters long, the ceiling was fairly low and gave the room a cramped feeling.

Richard groaned, resting his head against the wall, desperately trying to think of a way to get home. Bruce must have been looking for him, surley he'll be saved soon, right? Bruce wouldn't just give up on him, would he?

Suddenly, the bell went off, signalling that todays two names were about to be called out. Dick looked up to the speaker in the top left corner of his room, "Finn Lynch," The voice announced. So Finn must have won the fight yesterday against Casey. Richard knew Casey from school, she was a quiet girl, practically lived in the library and she always seemed to have her head buried in a book.
Dick knew Finn aswell, he was one of the boys obsessed with sports and he seemed to be a player when it came to relationships. He quickly became well known because he had dated one of the hottest girls in Richard's year.
The bird silently wajted for the next name, "Richard Grayson." He almost threw up.
"No way" He whispered, his face turning paler by the second. He knew what this meant, it was kill or be killed. Finn had already taken out Casey and unless Dick broke Batman's number one rule, he would be next.
Dick slid down the wall and colapsed onto the ground, shaking uncontrollably, "Shit..." He whispered, running a hand through his hair, "Shit, shit, shit."
Suddenly, the black, heavy iron door swing open and a man appeared. "Come on then, looks like you're up next" He grinned, grabbing Dick by his hair and pulling him out of the cell and towards the pit where he would be forced to kill Finn or be killef by Finn.

As soon as he entered the room, he saw Deathstroke sat in a chair, looking down into a pit, Dick was lead down some stairs and placed infront of some bars blocking off the entry to the arena. The man left Dick infront of the bars and closed a gate behind him, leaving Dick locked in a small pen. Opposite Dick's pen, across the pit was Finn, staring back at Dick with an emotionless expression. Then the bars slid into the ground and the boys walked into the arena.

AN. Alright, so yeah, feel free to suggest ideas for future chapters. Sorry if this chapter isn't long enough, I'll try to make the next one a little longer. The next chapters will be more feely and dark and will also have snippits of Birdflash too
