F O U R- Guardian Angel
I screamed.
I scrambled out of the bed, tossing a pillow at the..the thing on my bed.
He simply laughed and somehow disappeared and reappeared by the dresser.
"You would think that a pillow wouldn't harm a dead person, right?"
I screamed again.
"What the hell are you!?!"
I was not going to accept that I was seeing the spirit of my dead husband, Harry. It just isnt possible. I went to the funeral, and saw him in the casket. He wasn't breathing or moving, so how in the hell is he..here?
I sunk down to the floor, hugging my knees to my chest. I was shaking all over, keeping my eyes on the illusionf of Harry. He was wearing a white rub and it must have been loosely tied, as it showed off his chest and abs. He was also wearing his gold link chain-bracelet, a bracelet her never took off, the one I gave him on our first anniversary.
"I'm Harry, your deceased fiance." He smiled, his tone pleasant.
I shook my head.
This isn't possible!
People don't just see their late loved ones!
"I'm going insane.." I mumbled.
"No, not at all," he appeared in front of me," you're just upset."
I felt his fingers under my chin, but they weren't warm.
They were ice cold.
He lifted my head up, forcing me to look into his eyes.
His eyes were emotionless dead. They weren't filled with joy or happiness, it was as if his eyes were just.. there. I imagine if he lost an eye in the accident, there would just be an empty, black hole.
"W-What are y-you?" I stammered, tears starting to stream down my face.
I didn't know what to feel.
My heart was telling me to be okay with seeing the spirit of Harry, telling me I should be happy.
My heart was poundingin my chest, and I was breathing hard.
My mind was all over the place.
Harry pushed my hair back away from my face, and wiped my tears.
"I'm your guardian angel, Layla."
