~Ji Eun's POV~
I walked into the restaurant to see if I could get a job there. I walked up to the counter and asked the first person I saw.
"Hi, can I please speak to the manager?" I asked politely.
"Right here" The person said, pointing at himself.
"Oh, I saw online that you needed a helper?" I explained.
"I was wondering if I could get a part time job here?" I asked and the guy nodded.
"What days are you free?" He asked taking his notepad out.
"On weekdays, I'm free after 4 o'clock and I'm free all day in the weekends" I explained.
"Okay, you can start work today" He smiled handing me the uniform.
"Can I get your name?" He asked.
"Kang Ji Eun" I replied.
"Okay, you'll probably get your name badge tomorrow" He said.
"The lockers are just around the corner so you can get changed in there and put your property in locker number 6" He said handing me a key for my locker.
"Thank you" I thanked him before heading off to get changed.
I entered the room and there were already workers hanging around and talking to each other.
"Annyeonghaseyo, Kang Ji Eun imnida" I unenthusiastically introduced myself before heading to my locker to put my belongings in.
"Kang Ji Hoon, you'll be assisting Kang Ji Eun today" The manager said and a tall blonde hair guy stood up.
"Ne" He sang and looked over at me. The other workers then left the room and there was only the two of us.
"I'm Kang Ji Hoon" He introduced giving me his hand to shake.
"I know" I replied as I rejected his handshake while I placed my things in my locker.
"Are you new here?" He asked.
"Duh" I rolled my eyes locking my locker.
"Haha we have similar names, Kang Ji Eun and Kang Ji Hoon" He awkwardly chuckled rubbing the back of his neck.
"Yeah" I replied bending down to tie my shoelaces.
"Work doesn't start until 10 minutes so I'll show you the basics around the restaurant" He said walking to the door and I nodded as I followed behind him.
"Napkins placed flat on the table on the right to the chair, spoons on the right, forks on the left, followed by chopsticks" He instructed as he carefully placed the cutleries on the table.
"There are 2 workers at the front each day and 3 at the back kitchen" He said as he handed over the napkins to me.
"You should take the menu home tonight and study the prices too, they're pretty easy to memorise"
"Okay" I replied as I continued to place the napkins on the table.
As we made our way back to the bar, I received a phone call from my mother.
"Oh and no phones, but I use it anyways" He winked turning around to do his business.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Ji Eun-ah, where are you?" She asked.
"Why do you care?" I asked before I quickly ended the call, placing the phone in my back pocket.
"Boyfriend?" Ji Hoon asked.
"I don't have one" I rolled my eyes.
