"I don't want to mummy." I whined
"They're our new neighbours we have to say hello or it's not polite." My mummy replied
"I want to go back home."
"We are home."
I crossed my arms and followed mummy. We left home because mummy said that daddy doesn't love mummy anymore. Daddy still lives at home. We walked across the road to some bodies house. Mummy knocked on the door and someone else's mummy answered the door and a boy was stood behind her. Ewwww. Mummy expects me to be friends with a boy? No way! I pulled mummy's sleeve.
"I'm not being friends with a boy." I told her
"Make friends with Daniel and you will be able to go on a play date together." Mummy said
"Do I have to?"
"Yes."
"Daniel. Say hello to Kaitlin, your new friend." I heard his mummy say
"Hello. My name is Kaitlin." I said quietly
"Hello. I'm Daniel." He said smiling at me
I didn't know what to do so I hid behind mummy. I didn't like the new boy so I just hid for the rest of the time we were there
