*Phil's POV*
Kaitlin dragged me to the bus stop where she waited eagerly for the bus. I couldn't help but keep glancing at her. Sure I haven't known her long but she is beautiful. Her dad seems to like me so that's a bonus if she ever dates me. Not like she will but I can wish can't I? As soon as the bus pulled up I walked to the door. Kaitlin walked behind me. I paid the fare for both of us and sat where I usually do but Kaitlin had to sit on her own near a really shifty guy. I didn't like the look of him. For the whole bus journey I watched the guy. When it got to our stop I told Kaitlin it was time to get off. I was near the front when I heard Kaitlin scream. I turned around fast and pushed past my friends to get to her. The guy had hold of her and held her firmly on his lap.
"Get off her." I said
"Why? What is she to you?" The guy asked
I had to think quick . I can't say brother because there is no family resemblance. I know.
"She's my girlfriend." I said
Hopefully Kaitlin caught on.
"Is he right babe?" The guy asked Kaitlin
"Yes..." Kaitlin said
"But babe..."
"Just piss off mate and leave her alone." Jack , one of my mates, said
"And who are you?"
"The distraction."
"What?" I asked him at the same time as the guy
"Watch out mate." Is all Jack said
Kaitlin had managed to get her leg near the guys balls. She kicked him and he instantly let her go. She ran to me and hugged me. I used the pole on the bus to help me stand up with both of our weight and used the other arm to hug her.
"Come on Kaitlin." I said starting to walk down the bus.
I held Kaitlin's hand until the bell went for registration. I didn't want to leave someone as beautiful as Kaitlin alone with no one around to protect her but I had to.
*Kaitlin's POV*
Phil smiled at me before leaving me in the corridor by myself . He was in a different form to me so I understand he had to leave me but maybe in my form room. Maybe? I wondered around for a while until I found a friendly looking person. I cautiously walked over to them.
"Excuse me but I seem to be lost." I said to them
"Oh, you must be the new girl. I'm Rose head of school government." She said
"Hello I'm..."
"Kaitlin. I know. Let's get you to form. Follow me." She power walked in the direction I had just came from. When she noticed I wasn't following her she turned around. "Well? Come on then! We don't have all day."
I groaned and followed her. She stood right outside the door Phil had left me outside. Now I feel stupid... And upset I had a go at him in my head. The bell rang again signifying the start if first period. Can I just bring to your attention that each hour is called a period... Yeah... Try asking a boy what they have for next period... It happened in my last school... Did not go down well... Anyway. I followed miss school government to English which was my first lesson. Luckily Phil was in my English class unluckily I had to sit next to miss school government on the other side of the classroom from Phil. I just sat daydreaming for an hour until the bell went for second period. I had RE ( A/N RS or whatever you call it in your school/ country). I love RE but don't get me wrong it can be boring sometimes. I found my class on my own because Rose aka miss school government had a different class. My teacher seemed pretty cool. Seeing as how she introduced me.
