Imagine, you hold keys in your hand
Imagine, you are the king of this land
Imagine, you live in a world made of sand
Imagine, without it your life would be bland...
My mind always wanders, drifting and free
When my body differs and turns to sleep
It takes me on adventures, glorious and free
It takes me only, when I go to sleep
I learn more about me,
Then I ever dreamed
Perhaps that is the irony,
of being asleep?
For life is but dreams,
forever on show
but sorrow remains,
wherever we go
We have it for reasons,
Reasons unknown
We have it for reasons,
No one will ever know
It changes our view
making us new
showing our true selves
as we never knew
so take me, my dream land
and take me now
Let me escape
someway some how.
