Cross Roads

In the hours that followed, I don't think I had ever been more happy My father wasn't to fond of the fact that Xavier was a Vampire but, was slowly warming up to the idea. I smiled as Lily bounded up to Xavier and scrambled up his lap grinning as if she had just won the lottery. We had decided to stay for a few days as my father wanted to let the pack know that I was alive, sure they would be overjoyed. He also wanted to introduce me to the surrounding packs I was very nervous about the fact but, I knew that it was important to my father so I had grudgingly agreed. My father had also apologized profusely that he had not told me that I was a Lycan and had immediately told Lilly when she had been old enough to understand about werewolves. She couldn't wait to meet her wolf and was upset that it would take ten more years until she could finally shift. I absently reached for Lilly she shook her head clinging to Xavier looking over at Xavier I noticed he wore a smug grin and rolled my eyes. "Traitor ." I said teasingly mock glaring at her as she smiled back my father stared on an amused smile on his face which suddenly turned into a puzzled expression. "We thought you were dead and finding out you weren't shocked me so much that I forgot to ask, where have you been for the last three years?" I shuddered and Xavier must have noticed "That night I was attacked by a Rouge wolf ." I flinched remembering the pain washing over me in waves, each longer than the last. "I guess the pain was to much and my body to weak because I passed out." I closed my eyes inhaled and continued " The blood loss alone should have killed me, but I remained slipping in and out of consciousness. Each time, before I would completely slip away I remember thinking this is it I'm dying. The final time I opened my eyes a blinding light seared my senses along with the light, came the voice. " I smiled remembering the motherly voice enveloping me in warmth clearing the haze of pain, that had so desperately,tried to drag me down with it. " Her expression was gentle and I had found myself wishing for my own mother,I finally allowed my self to cry. She had smiled, soft but her steelie grey eyes held a fierce determination patiently she waited as if she had all day I suspected she did, where as I had only minutes . One of my ribs was broken and it had punctured my lung so that I was drowning in my own blood I cringed, that had been very unpleasant. " It is not your time yet little one you will live on to do great things, but, it is up to you as to if they are for the light or the dark. I see much pain in your future but also great joy,do not give up, claim the light or we all shall perish."I recounted what she had said word for word my father's eyes widened, but never the less he let me continue. "The woman was suddenly kneeling by my side carefully she lifted me up white stained crimson and an intense pain as light radiated from her hands then nothing. Blackness. " "That is all I remember ." I gulped shaking like a leaf I knew that it was time to tell my father about all these years, the abuse that I had suffered. "I was taken by an Alpha, my mate. He abused me, made me wish I that I..." I paused wrapping my arms around my shaking body unable to catch my breath. " He made me wish that I would just die." The silence was deafening as the words were absorbed by the three people I loved the most. Lilly scrambled over to my side and into my lap, my father's eyes were obsidian, Xavier just sat in stunned silence unable to speak. I sniffed letting my tears fall for a minute before lifting my head,I scowled he would not win. Xavier noticing my change of mood gave me a smile, he was proud of me. My father was taking deep calming breaths his wolf still fighting the urge to protect his pup. He closed his eyes successful in calming him he spoke"I know that this might sound crazy but, you spoke to the moon goddess. She saved you for a reason it may not make sense now but, I have a feeling that it will become clear soon. I nodded " Dad... there is still one more tiny,little, itsy problem this Alpha, he is still my mate." His eyes flashed a bright shade of Amber and his canines elongated as he spoke making his voice gruff"Reject the sorry mutt, then, I will make him wish he had never been born." I flinched Luka deserved what was coming to him but Aniken, he was innocent. I couldn't condemn him for the crimes of his other half and, he loved my wolf along with myself my rejection would kill him. "Dad his wolf loves me, he is innocent and I will not reject him." My father sighed " There is a way, to remove someone's wolf but, it is almost unheard of and almost never preformed. It is considered the worst punishment which, I do not disagree he deserves but, his wolf will die." I inhaled sharply at a cross roads  he continued "he will then be judged by the moon unfortunately, you will have to reject both of them first before this whole process can be started."" The Moon Goddess will punish him due to his human's crimes unless he has been rejected as well then, and only then, will he have a chance." my father's voice was pained as if he heard the sound of my heart breaking in two a second time. "This has to be done his wolf is pure and I will not let him remain with him any longer." I said forcing myself to believe that every thing would turn out just fine "Then, I think it is time that I introduce you to the elders'."
