Chapter 8

After Sophie and Y/N finished eating lunch, they walked around to some of the stores in the mall.

Sophie: "Hey Y/N..."

Y/N: "Yes?"

Sophie: "Why did Nathan attack my brother?"

Y/N: "Well he kind of saw your brother and I kissing..." Y/N felt awkward talking about the situation with Simon's little sister

Sophie: "But aren't you dating Nathan?"

Y/N: "Yeah I think so"

Sophie: "You think you're still dating Nathan?" she laughed a little

Y/N: "Its umm complicated" she walked into Forever 21 and started looking through clothes and Sophie followed

Sophie: "The night before Simon got beat up he was talking to me after his live stream on YouNow about you. He really likes you"

Y/N: "He told you about me?"

Sophie: "Mmhmm. Do you like him back?"

Y/N: "Course not, we are just friends. I'm with Nathan remember"

Sophie: "Then why did you kiss him?"

Y/N: "Look Sophie I don't even kno-" just then Sophie's phone started ringing and she answered it

She looked worried

Y/N: "Is everything okay Sophie?"

Sophie started to tear up

Y/N could tell someone happened with Simon

Y/N: "Here let's get going" 

They got in the car and headed back to the hospital. Sophie just stayed silent

Y/N: "Sophie... you can talk to me about whats wrong"

Sophie wiped the tears from her face and looked up at Y/N 

Sophie: "My mom said that Simon keeps throwing up and every time he tries to rest he wakes up screaming in pain because his head hurts so bad. I'm really worried that he'll never be able to make YouTube videos anymore, or live stream, or do anything for a long time and that his career is pretty much over. Which really upsets me because my brother worked so hard to get where he is and thats what makes him happy but now that is all going to be gone" she started crying again

Y/N: "Sophie I'm sorry..." she wasn't sure how to respond

They just pulled into the hospital parking lot.

Sophie: "Y-You can just drop me off her"

Y/N: ''No I'll walk you in"

They walked into the hospital and went up to Simon's room

When they got to the lobby Simon's mom was just sobbing hard.

Y/N felt terrible and felt guilty because if she wouldn't had become friends with Simon he wouldn't have caught feelings and if he hadn't caught feelings the kiss wouldn't have happened and Nathan wouldn't have hurt him and then everything would be okay"

Y/N couldn't stand to stay

Y/N: "I have to get going but uh,I had a good time today Sophie maybe we can do that again soon" she forced a smile and left the hospital.

When she got in her car she just cried and couldn't stop crying

Nathan was up in his room. His mom wouldn't let him leave after what he had done

Nathan's Mom: "Why would you do that to your friend?"

                                "What kind of person have I raised you to be?"

                                "I thought better of you Nathan and I am so disappointed"
she slammed the door and left Nathan in his room

Nathan regretted everything he had done.He wasn't sure how he could fix everything though, he was freaking out and so stressed. He needed Y/N. She always had the best things to say to him and she always helped him when he got stressed or worried... But she had kissed his best friend right in front of him, she had told him to his face that she also enjoyed the kiss. Nathan missed her so much though and just needed her right now. He pulled out his phone from his pocket took a deep breath and rehearsed what he was going to say in his head a couple times and then dialed her number...
