The Flash vs. Appendicitis

Chapter 3

Barry ran into the scene of the crime where Weather Wizard was with Mirror Master shoving people into mirrors. Barry's eyes were bloodshot and he was disturbingly pale but he kept running. "Do you guys always have to ruin my day." He said vibrating his voice,raspy but always playful. "Do you always have to ruin my fun." Mirror Master and Weather Wizard retorted in unison. Barry sped at both of them. With his now improving speed he took them down with ease. As he rushed to get all of the citizens out of the Mirrors, he was caught off guard by Weather Wizard when he threw him a jolt of electricity square in the stomach. (You'd think he'd be used to it considering the amount of times he has been struck by lightning) Barry screeched in agony. He ran back to STAR Labs before passing out in the middle of the cortex. Caitlin ran over. She gently patted his cheek hoping it would wake him up but with no such luck. She tries again and again and then decides to scan him again and finds what she knew she would. "He has appendicitis,I knew it. His appendix would have ruptured if we waited any longer. We need to perform surgery now so It's good he isn't awake." Caitlin somehow fit into about 4 sentences. Iris made that wounded puppy face. "Is he going to be ok?" Iris asked worriedly. "Yes,Appendix surgery is easy to perform and since I am a perfectionist,I can basically do anything medical related!" Caitlin said smugly with a reassuring grin on her face. She wheled him away on a gurney no one knew they had,and did the hour and a half long surgery. Joe wouldn't be there for awhile so Cisco distracted Iris by watching Stranger Things with her. When Barry was out he had a lot more color in his face than before. About half an hour later,his eyes fluttered open.
