Barry coughed very noticeably and tried to pass it off as clearing his throat which was not working by the way. "Allen. I can't work with you trying to cough up hair ball in the middle of my- our lab." Julian all but yelled. Just then Joe walked in. "Crime scene at 5th avenue. Shooting. 3 dead." He said. "I'll go." Barry said quickly,Trying to get away from Julian and work as quickly as humanly possible... make that metahumanly possible😂🤣 XD.
At the scene Barry couldn't focus. He shifted uncomfortably. His whole side hurt and all he could really focus on was trying not to throw up which was probably gonna happen anyway. Joe noticed Barry and asked if he was ok. "I'm...*GULP* fine." Barry said trying to swallow the vomit that was in his throat and threatening to come up. He ran (AT HUMAN SPEED) to the nearest bushes and retched out his stomach. "Yea... you are going home Barr." Joe insisted.
