Narrator's POV

There she stood,on the deck,hands against the railing of the ship,gazing into the sky,deep in thoughts.
Thinking about her life,her family,her Nakama.Thinking about how her life changed in an instant...
until she sensed someone's presence behind her.

She looked back to find Ben beckmen,one of the Nakama standing behind her.His back against the wall.

He smiled and walked towards her and stopped when he reached her and stood there, back against the railings.

"Hey" he said

"Hi"she replied with a warm smile

"It's been a while huh"ben said

"Yeah,it has,so how have you been doing these past days?"

"Marvellous, what about you?"

"Fine,I guess"she said.

Ben looked at her and frowned. He turned so now his hands were against the railings and looked up at the sky and sighed

"You miss them don't you?"
(Y/N)'s smile fell, she frowned and sighed too.

"I do but I guess I made the right choice"

"Hmm"ben hummed  and said nothing

They stood there for a while until lucky roo came said that the dinner was ready.

She sighed "Yosh,let's go"and Ben closed his eyes and smiled "hai"

They went to the kitchen.first thing she saw was her captain,she offered a smile smiled .he smiled sadly and took her hand in his and lead her to the table,then helped her sit.she smiled and mouthed a 'Thankyou'.he nodded and sat beside her.

"Everyone's here?" Asked the captain

"Haaaaaii"everyone answered together.

"Ookay minna san dig in"said shanks
And everyone went crazy with food and started filling there plates.

She closed her eyes and joined my hands together and said"Itadakimaasu"

She was about to take a bite until captain said "aaahoii" and everyone stopped eating and looked at captain

Captain looked at everyone and stood with the bottle of rum.and not to forget he was swaying like an idiot,that means he's already drunk"

"I want to make a toast"he said"To
(y/n)"

She smiled and signed, he looked at her and said

"(Y/n),we welcomed you to this crew.....I don't know..many years ago and took you in,you have been loyal to me and never objected on anything I told you and took care of everyone"

"Especially you cap"Ben interrupted with a laugh

"You don't need to take care of me,and you never had or will"shanks answered,still swaying like an idiot

"Not even when you're drunk"ben asked playfully

"Nope,no,never"The captain answered with a drunken smile

"Okay,so where were we...oh yeah let's get to the point.
(Y/n),I,here by make you my second division commander of this crew"

"And by that he means left hand"lucky roo screamed and everyone laughed.

"Yeah and I make you my left hand toooo" shanks said

"And!! I'm making you left hand as ben is already my right hand,though I have non"shanks said and laughed like a maniac and with him everyone laughed.
Everyone except her because she was so shocked at her being captains left hand.
'Did he just said that from now on I'm his left hand partner' "she thought

Shanks stopped laughing and shouted

"KAMPAAAI" and with that everyone shouted
"KAMPAAAI" and congratulated me.
She just smiled and looked at shanks
He sat down ,shook my hand and smirked

"Congratulations (y/n)" and with that he started filling his own plate.
