Chapter Five: Family Time

Kaylei's PoV

We all decided to let Robert, Courtney, and the twins be alone at their new house for a few hours. I call up Courtney.

She picks up on the fourth ring.

Her: Hey babes

Robert: Who's that?

Her: It's Kaylei, calm down babe

Me: Men

Her: Tell me about it

Me: You guys like your new house?

Her: Yeah. I was scared about us living on our own, buuuut then Jason came in the room

Me: Jason? Oh that must be your bodyguard

Her: Yup. He's gonna be living with us. I feel a lot better now

Me: I thought it was kinda strange that they were going to have you living on your own

Her: Me too

Me: So whatcha guys doin'?

Her: Watchin' some random TV show

Me: Fun

Her: What about you?

Me: Just sittin' here

Her: That's always fun

Me: How are you feeling?

Her: Better

Me: That's good

Her: Yupp

I hear crying in the background.

Courtney sighs.

Robert: I got it

Me: Sounds fun

Her: Totally, I should go help him.

Me: Okay, I'll talk to you later

Her: Okay, byeee

Me: Bye babe

We hang up.

"Michele?" I ask turning to Michele.

Austin, Trentin, and my mom are out getting some food and pads for me.

"Yeah sweetie?" Michele asks turning to me.

"Do you think Austin and I will make good parents someday?"

"Are you pregnant?!"

"No! I'm on my period right now so I know I'm not."

"Okay. But yeah, I think you two will be great parents. In at least two years."

I smile then give her a hug.

Michele hugs me back. When she pulls away, she asks, "How are you doing in school?"

"I kinda miss going to normal school, but I'm glad Courtney and I aren't. I don't think I could handle that, and I know Courtney couldn't."

"She's doing a lot better now. I remember when I first met her. She was so shy and quiet. Now you couldn't get her to shut up if your life depended on it."
