Long Lost Zabini Twin

Chapter 6

Previously:  "Crystal honey! Are you ready to go shopping?!" Amara shouted upstairs, "Yes Mother, I'm coming now!" Hermione replied, Amara smiled to herself whilst her daughter came running downstairs. "Come on dear, let's go." and the two apparated.

Hermione's POV:

I looked around the place we apparated to, it was magnificent!  I turned my mother and asked "Where are we? I don't recognise it"  and she turned and smiled at me and said "We'r in New York sweety" and I looked with an astonished look and she laughed.  We were interupted my a woman who came in and said "Amara! Great to see you! What may I owe the pleasure?" with a beaming smile on her face, mother walked up to her and said "Great to see you too Natalia! I'm here for my daughter Crystal's gown, for her ball next week." and then the woman, Natalia, spotted me and then ran over and pulled me into a hug and said "Oh Amara!  She looks just like you!  She's so beautiful!" I blushed at this.  "Let's find you dress then is it?" Natalia smiled at me and I nodded at her and we went to find the dress.

1 hour later we finished shopping for my dress, shoes and accessories, I can't wait for everyone to see them!  But I'm going to keep it a secret until the ball.  Mother and I decided to go for lunch in her favorite muggle cafe in New York, Laduree New York Madison, It was so cute!  It had pink walls and a marble floor and sold the cutest, most petite cakes I'd ever seen!  It was lovely! After a few cakes and a milkshake we decided to apparate back home to see the boys.

We apparated home to find Blaise and Father playing a game of wizard chess, Blaise seemed rather good at it, and as for father, well that's a different story.  I walked over to Blaise and said "Where's Draco?" he smirked at me and said "He had to go home" and then Father spoke up and said "Ah that reminds me, the Malfoy's are coming over for dinner tonight, Minnie has set a gown for you to wear Crystal,  if you go get ready now they should be here soon.  I said "Okay daddy" and ran to get ready.  I wondered why we had to dress so formally, but I guess we are pure-blood families and it is considered an occasion. 

When I got to my room I spotted a magnificent long pure white dress with a pure gold bodice laid out on my bed, It was gorgeous!  I went into my En-Suite and had a shower and then quickly slipped on the dress.  Two minutes later I heard a pop and I turned around to see our house-elf, minnie,  she said "Hello young mistress, Minnie is here to help with young mistress' with her hair and make-up." She walked me over to my dressing table and started playing around with my hair.  About 20 minutes later she had finished my hair and makeup.  I looked into the mirror at and gasped, I looked beautiful!  Minnie had put my hair up into the most elegant french twist I'd ever seen and my make-up was fabulous! I thanked her and she apparated.  10 minutes later Father called her down to tell her that Draco and his family was there, I quickly buckled my strappy black heels and made my way downstairs.

Draco's POV:

We're sat in my families carriage in silence, it has been awkward ever since my parents found out who Crystal used to be, considering what happened at our manor.  My mother was the first to speak, she looked up at me and said "Draco darling, you like this girl dont you? I can see it in your eyes." I looked up at her and said "Yes mother, I think I do" she smiled at me and the turned to father and said "Oh Lucius, I can't wait to meet our beautiful God-Daughter, can you" he looked up and smiled and said to her "I've been looking forward to it ever since I found out she was back." he looked at me and smiled and then said "So I take it you will be escorting her to the ball next week?" I smirked and nodded.

10 minutes later we arrived at the Zabini manor and knocked on the door, moments later Zachary opened the door and said "Draco, Narcissa, Lucius, come on in."  Amara ran up to mother and pulled her into a hug and said "Oh Cissa, it's great to see you again!" and then smiled at me and hugged me and said "Good to see you back again Draco" as I laughed.  Zachary called up to Blaise and Crystal to tell them that we were here.  Moments later I saw Crystal walking down the stairs, she looked beautiful, I stared.  Before she could reach the bottom of the stairs mother ran up to her, pulled her into a hug and gushed "Oh Crystal dear, you look so beautiful! Just like your mother! I am so sorry about our differences in the past and I hope you can forgive me and my husband, oh I'm so glad to have my God-daughter back!" Crystal laughed and said "Oh of course I can forgive you! Don't be silly! After all you and your son practically saved me back at your manor!" Mother smiled at her and pulled her into a hug.  Father was smiling and once mother had finished he went over and hugged Crystal and apologized.  It looked like this was going to be a good night.
