Hotel Hell?

After driving around for about 5 hours, my hands began to start cramping and I knew that I had to stop.  I drove down to this bad side of town, the run down buildings and the gun shots welcomed me as I drove past,  casually.  The town was coated in darkness, it was breaking past dawn now,  barely hitting past 5 am. Yet the sun seemed to rise lazily over the horizon with no care.

I went to the closet motel I could,  just to rest up and get my thoughts in order.... But I got something I didn't quite expect.

The motel was rundown,  it looked almost abandoned if not for the fact that I could see some light shining through the curtains. When I went inside of the place I was greeted with a dim light, it was almost impossible to see in there. A few mice scattered around the lobby and a single man sat behind the desk.  He didn't seem to fond of the fact that he had to do his job. He let out a low snarl and he wouldn't stop frowning. His eyes were a dark brown,  like toxic sludge.  His ears were pointed, reminding me of an elf.  His nose was crocked and it could barely support his glasses, the hung low,  threatening to fall off.

"What do you want." he growled.

"A room." I found myself growling back,  with just as much attitude and hate. I glared,  feeling like I want a smoke, just so that way I could shove it into his eyes.

He let out a soft chuckle and he pulled down a key. "60 a night,  I want payment, up front. No funny business kid." his voice was hoarse and he rolled his eyes.

"Yeah yeah" I dug into my pocket for my wallet and I dug out 60 dollars and I slammed it onto the counter and I snatched the key from his hand and I walked up to the room that was on the key.

when I opened the door,  the smell of blood and throw up wafted to my nose. My eyes began to water and I gagged.  This triggered my loud hacking and I began coughing again,  I began chocking on the blood that threatened to come up my throat and I ran to the bathroom and I spit up the dark red substance.  I tried not to look around incase I saw something that I did not need to see.

I let out an aggravated sigh and I cleaned my mouth, shushing and gargling the stale water and I walked out of the bathroom and into the room.  The smell would not go away and It seems to just grow stronger and stronger as time passes.

What the hell could that be?  Of course it had to be a body, there is no way it could've been anything else.  I searched and searched for anything that could point out the smell.  But nothing seemed to be the cause.  It wasn't like I could just pinpoint the source of the smell because every where I turned the smell just was as strong as another place in the room.

Is my mind playing tricks on me?  I hope not.

But sure enough,  my mind went hazy with the fimilar unfimilar, unwanted presence of an unwanted someone.  My eyes grew heavy and I knew this was the end.  But I couldn't, not when I had just driven and gotten so far from the place that all the drama was occurring.

Why now?  Of all times, why did He have to come.

The last thing I remembered before falling in darkness,  was screaming my head off as pain erupted throughout my head and my body.
