"Hi! One peppermint latte, regular please." I said to Mia. One of the staffs of Firenz Cafe.

"Hello ma'am! Ahm one peppermint latte...ok po. Serve na lang po namin sa table niyo after ten minutes." She replied smilingly.

"165 pesos right?" I muttered while getting some cash from my wallet.

"Ay ok na po. Bayad na po yung coffee niyo." She replied hastily.

"Huh? Na naman?"

"Opo ma'am. Same person po ang nagbayad."

"Ah wow ok." I exclaimed in surprise.

"Your secret admirer ma'am." Jon, another friendly cafe staff who is currently making my coffee suddenly mused with a teasing grin.

For the past eight days I have been receiving a free cup of coffee from this mysterious stranger. I have asked many times but the staffs of the cafe won't tell me his identity. Apparently that person requested it. They just said that it is a man who's about at the same age as me. And honestly I thank heavens for that information. At least that I know fo sure. I have no intention to entertain some bored rich DOM pursuers neither to become an instant cradle snatcher since there are a lot of universities and colleges in this area after all.

"Secret admirer talaga Jon? Eh bakit hindi pa din nagpapakilala? Lagpas one week na niya kong nililibre ng coffee ah. Grabe ganoon ba ako nakakatakot?" I joked with a grin.

"Malay niyo ma'am nahihiya lang si sir. Saka mukhang lagi kasi kayong busy pag nandito eh. Baka kaya di niya kayo ma-approach. Baka feeling niya makakaistorbo lang sya." He suggested.

"Tapos na kong maging busy two days ago pa. Literal na tumatambay na nga lang ako ngayon dito eh. Ang sarap kasi ng coffee niyo. Naadik na ako." I uttered with a chuckle.

"Ay gano'n ba ma'am. Ayos yan. Hintay niyo lang baka magpakilala na sa inyo si sir. Malay niyo ma'am sya na forever niyo." He joked laughingly.

"Walang forever! Charot! Haynako Jon sige na tapusin mo na lang yang kape ko. Tama na pahopia." I replied with a laugh as well. And then I added. "Sarapan mo timpla ah."

The two of them roared in laughter upon my 'hugot'. And then eventually Jon replied eagerly. "Aye, aye ma'am!"

I look around and check if my usual spot is already taken. Luckily it is still empty. I walked fastly towards that table and sit immediately to prevent other customers from taking it. When already settled, I put my bag on top of the chair beside me and wait for my coffee.

I have been a regular customer of Firenz for two consecutive weeks now. Regular-meaning everyday for the past two weeks I literally spend my afternoons here (well except from Sundays of course). That's why it is no surprise that I already became good friends to almost all of its staff. Mia and Jon for example.

To tell you honestly there is a specific reason as to why I started to make "tambay" at this cafe. It all started when I incidentally discovered that my ultimate celebrity crush, model, hunk, cutie and ex-PBB housemate-Luis Hontiveros is a regular customer here as well.

Not so long ago, I have been very busy with my presentation for my dissertation's final oral defense. I can't understand why but it seemed that I can't fully concentrate on working at school or even at home. I don't exactly know the reason but I am always distracted. So, I decided to look for a nearby place from work where I can peacefully finish it.
