It didn't make sense, I mean I assumed she couldn't talk considering the small child practically hacked into my phone to send me that email.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when she piped up to answer.
"I could always talk why would you think, oh you think since I communicated with you using a device you thought that I couldn't speak. Am I correct?" she finished by tilting her head to the side.
I began to stutter while attempting to collect my thoughts.
"Is this the little girl you where rambling about?" he said with the fear on his face being replaced by a blank expression.
" I apologize for my inconvenience to you I realize now that you probably don't appreciate the damage that was done to your living space" the child said with a monotone voice.
"It's fine as long as you tell me why he was chasing you" I exclaimed to the girl with a harsh tone.
"I realize you are not pleased with my actions but that story is for another time." The child says with boredom laced into her voice.
Elias was starting to stare at the back of my head and I could feel it. "Can you not?!" I yell to him without breaking eye contact with the girl. I heard him mumble something under his breath but couldn't make out what he said.
The small child looks up to me and says " Greer" I stare at her in complete confusion "what?" I question her.
"My name, it's Greer" she exclaimed boldly.
"Okay, well my name is Ensley and this is Elias" I point to Elias.
"Anyways not trying to be rude or anything but what are you? I mean it's fine if you don't want to say I was just curious" I stop myself from saying more.
"Depends on how you look at me I guess, some see me as a angel others see me as a demon. You choose" she says with a slight smirk.
"Okay well I'm going to go bang my head on a wall for an hour and rethink my life" Elias explains before attempting to leave the room. I emediatly turn and grab his wrist. "You want me to stay here by myself with this psycho?!" I whisper to him."Hmm, yep!" He says in a fake cheerfulness. I stay there in aw glaring at him. He turns to leave again and I let him.
I turn back to Greer and we sit there before I speak up
