Jess's POV

When I answered the call, I heard the guys inside giggling and I heard a little bit of their conversation. "You like her"
I heard Ross' voice speak. "Maybe..maybe not.." I heard Max's voice deny what Ross said to him.
After that it was silent so I started speaking on my phone to K~C
J- Jess
K- Kawaii~chan

J- hey Whats up?
K- Hello Aphmau~senpai!!
(Her voice was heard by the others)
J- my name is Jess. Not Aphmau. I changed it last year, remember??
K- oh yeah..Kawaii~chan is sorry.
(A sigh came from Jess' side of the call)
J- it's fine K~C, now what's up??
K- Kawaii~chan wanted to tell Jess~Senpai that Aaron want to talk to you. (A squeal comes from the phone)
J- I'm busy..tell him that I can't. And tell him I never want to talk to him again!!! He took my heart and smashed it!!!
K- aww okay Jess~Senpai I'll tell him..
(She said that in a unconvincing voice)
J- bye. I'll be home by Two.

Max's POV
When she went outside, it was the perfect opportunity for the guys to tease me. I blocked them out for half of it, but I heard on specific thing out of their whole conversation. "You okay Max?" I heard a young girl with light red hair walk in. It was Shelby, or as everyone called her, Shubble. "Yeah, I just want to block out the whole world."
I said to her. She laughed and her tiny silver crown she always wears falls off.
I picked it up and put it back on her head. "Here you go, princess." Max said jokingly. Shelby giggled and showed a bit of pink on her face."anyway, I'm not here to chat, I'm here to invite you to my sleep over!!" Shelby squealed. Her voice is already high so when she squeals, a dog can hear it. "Maybe.." I said considering it, while Jess came, with her face soaked with tears."Jess are you okay!?" I ran up to her and hugged her. "What's wrong?" I said fast so nobody would hear I cared. "I got a call...about my EX-boyfriend..." She buried her face in my chest and cried more. Shubble was confused and wondered why max cares about her..
