"So how's life?" Ashton asked me. We were the only ones sitting on the couch area of the tour bus, the other guys had gone outside a few minutes earlier to get food. Ashton was the friendliest of all of them so I was never uncomfortable around him.
"Good," I replied. "A little bit stressful, but good." He nodded at me with a smile. "How about you? Have you heard of your family back home?" I asked, genuinely interested in his personal life.
"They're doing good," he said as a smile spread across his face. "I miss them a lot," he admitted.
The conversation went on and on. Ashton was not only easy to talk to, he was also a really nice person that I was gradually learning to know during the ROWYSO tour.
We heard the boys coming back on the tour bus a few minutes later, but we continued to talk about things from our childhood.
"I know!" He laughed, "That tv show was awesome," he agreed as I watched Calum come and sit next to me on the couch. I gave him a small smile before I looked back at Ashton.
"Who was your favorite character?"
Ashton answered me as I felt Calum's arms wrap around my waist. His face came close to my neck, his soft curls tickling my neck.
"Get out, Ash," Calum groaned, causing my cheeks to redden.
"Someone's horny," his bandmate joked as he picked up his phone, standing up.
"You don't have to-" I protested but Ash only winked at me before disappearing. I sighed before I gazed at my boyfriend. "That was rude," I voiced.
His lips dropped a kiss on my cheekbone.
"I just wanted to cuddle," he said, my eyebrows raising up in disbelief. "Hey," he whined as if he was offended by my reaction, "we never get to be alone these days."
I chuckled at him, making him pout. His lips connected with mine for a short kiss before he made me lay down on the couch so that he could be the big spoon.
"Happy now?" I giggled. I felt his hand delicately push away the hair on my neck so that he could plant a kiss at that place.
"Yes," he mumbled, his breath hit my skin, sending me shivers. His palm went on my hip, but it wasn't long before his hand was under my shirt, his fingers tracing shapes on my hip.
His lips were brushing against the back of my neck and I could hear him humming a song. I tried to recognize the song, but gave up after a minute. His humming stopped a few seconds after, letting place to a peaceful silence. Silence wasn't something I could have a lot with this tour, but it was a thing that I had learned to enjoy even more now.
"Love you," he whispered.
I closed my eyes with a silly smile on my face. And even though I loved silence, I loved it even more when the silence was broken by Calum saying those words to me.
"Love you, too."
