Comments? Votes? Im feelin a little let down here. I know it may not be the best story ever, but a little encouragement would be nice (hint, hint). Anyways, heres Chapter 3. Its short but I thought that there should be at least one more chapter before they head to their destination.

I held my breath as the doors were opened.
Jade marched in, as did her companions, lugging Jeremy with them. I followed.
As soon as I stepped foot in the gym, my eyes widened.
There were too many bodies lying on the floor, all of them slightly shriveled and purple. People were rushing around, pouring a little of the same liquid Jade had used in each half-dead person's mouth.
Jade walked over and pulled out her own bottle, and took up what everyone else who was concious was doing. Slowly, some of the kids started reviving, but to my shock, Jade and her lot would club them on the head and they would fall to the floor again, the only difference being that they weren't screwed up. The only time I didn't look in apparent shock was when Jackson hit Matt, one of the biggest jocks in our school.
Jade looked up at the door, and so did everyone else when they heard it smash open. Another person came running in, and she looked a little younger than Jade. She had black hair, and she was pretty tall. Her body was lean, and the way she jumped over the rubble told me that she was agile. The girl stopped in front of Jade.
"We must leave now. Our scouts have reported that the Shadowers are coming again."
Jade looked at the girl. "Thank you, Artemis. We'll leave now."
The girl, Artemis, nodded and sprinted back out.
"Come. Follow me. Then she looked at us slyly. "I hope you guys are in good shape."
We glanced at each other, grinning, despite all that had happened.
"Oh, we are so ready."
"Ready when you are," Katy said.
***********
We walked out of the school, or through the obstacles, and finally made outside. I inhaled, breathing in the somewhat fresh air. I had been getting a bit light-headed inside. Now that I thought of it, I realized that I had not eaten lunch because of the disruption.
Jade lifted her head and gazed at the sky. Probably checking if the coast was clear. But I was proven wrong about two seconds later. I heard something aproaching in the air, and with a jolt of fear wondered if the dark creatures were back again. But no, they were silent; this thing was making enough noise to wake up a neighborhood. I looked up in the sky and my eyes widened. She heard the chopping of blades, and then it came into sight: a helicopter.
The helicopter landed on the grass in front of them, its blades still whirring. The wind threw my hair around and went in my face. Out of the corner of my eye I could see that Katy and Jade and the others were having the same, if slightly less, problem.
The blades came to a stop, and Jade aproached the door on the side. It was pushed open, and a person dressed similar to Jade and her group stepped out.
"Guys, this is Fernando. He is the pilot of the helicopter, and he'll be taking us to our headquarters." Jade explained. The group made to step inside, but Jade stopped them. "Not all of us will fit inside, as only 5 people will fit; we will have to come back for the second group."
She motioned for Katy to step inside, then me. She stepped in after them, and lastly, Fernando. He headed towrds the front to the controls. Jade followed close behind. Just before she disappeared behind the curtain separating the cockpit from the back, she looked back.
"Try not to fall off the helicopter, would ya?" And vanished to the other side.
Try not to fall off? I worried about what that meant.
I glanced at Katy, who seemed perfectly comfortable about the fact that she was in a helicopter that had no seats.
I heard the blades start to spin outside, and the helicopter lifted off the ground. They raised altitude until they were high enough, then started forward with a jolt. I almost tripped, but luckily I caught onto Katy's arm and steadied myself.
"Careful there," she said. "But don't forget me; I'm a klutz sometimes too." She grasped onto my shoulder and righted herself. "That's better. Now, will someone explain to me why this helicopter has no seats?"
"Because it doesnt need any." A voice said from behind. I looked over her shoulder to see Jade standing behind her. She didn't look unsteady at all, just stood with her hands clasped behind her back.
"What kind of transportation that flies through the air doesn't have seats?" Katy asked more irritated. "What if we die? It'll be on your conscience, you know? I don't know who thought of this, but they are cra-zy. I'm gonna find them and give them a piece of my mind, and if they don't listen I'm gonna kick their a----"
Just then, the helicopter hit a turbulence and Katy would've fallen if not for me. Jade didn't even flinch. Jeez, did anything faze this woman? Although she thought she heard Jade say under her breath, "Thank God for turbulances."
"Oi! Commander Jade!" Fernando yelled from the cock-pit.
Jade's head disappeared behind the curtain. It came back a few seconds later. "We're almost there; we just have to find an open landing platform."
Several minutes later they were unboarding the helicopter, and when we all stood outside, Fernando waved, lifted the helicopter into the air, and flew out of sight a few seconds later.
"Where's he going?" I asked.
"To get my companions. They are waiting back at the school."
"Wasn't it dangerous to just leave them there? I mean, they could get attacked. And what about all those infected people? Some of them might have been our friends." Katy said.
Jade looked at her. "My group is highly trained to fight exactly this kind of stuff. I wouldn't worry about them. They're fine. As for the Plagued, they will be moved into a safehouse where they will wake up."
She turned around and led them to a flight of stairs that went downward. They soon reached the ground, and followed Jade. They came to a set of large gates, and Jade pressed a button off to the side.
It beeped and a voice asked, "Identity?"
"Commander Jade." She leaned down and a laser scanned her eye. It beeped agin, and the gates opened. We walked behind her through the gates, and stopped in complete awe.
Jade smiled at us. "Welcome to Headquarters."
