Double Differences

Chapter Four

     Andrew and I climbed into his truck. He started it and we took off down the road.

"So, why did you want to come with me?" he asked.

"Well I wanted to meet the girl who likes you before Em and Josh do. I also want to see if she's prettier then Em or I." I smirked.

"Well then..." he confronted

We rode in silence for a while.

"So how far 'way does this Kat girl live?" I asked as he turned into a street. Or what I thought was a street.

"She lives right here." he said as we approached a huge house.

"O...M...G..." I gasped.

It was the biggest house I had ever seen.

Andrew turned and smirked at me. "Okay now. Scoot over so Kat can have a seat."

"Alright, I will, you just go get her." I replied

As he walked up to her house I scooter over so I would be right in the middle if him and Kat.

He knocked on the door and a short blonde girl with purple highlights walked out. I instantly hated her. Andrew walked her over to the passenger side and opened the door for her. She climbed in without realizing I was there. Andrew went around and go in. I smushed myself against him so that Kat could see that he was mine and that she didn't know him.  "Who is that?' She glared at Andrew as she pointed at me.  "Kat, this is Lilly. She lives in Ringheart Virginia and comes to visit me, and Hosh every now and then." Andrew explained.  "EVERY NOW AND THEN!?!? I COME UP HERE EVERY WEEKEND!!!" I cried at him. "And when you were talking to her you forgot about Emmy, and how I used to live up here, and how I stay with you, and how Emmy and Josh live with you. How we're all one unit." I turned to look at Kat "and if you get one of us, you get our whole mob." I finished with a smirk. "Oh, and you get to see our wonderful slop we feed the boys!" I chirped. Andrew swatted at me "Shut up already Lil. Kat, Emmy  Lilly don't feed us slop, they actually make really good food."

We rode the rest of the way in silence.

When we got back to Andrew's house I climbed over Andrew and ran to where Josh was standing and jumped on his back. He spun us around a few times.

Andrew got out of the truck and ran over to "help" Kat out. "Watch out" I mumbled to Josh. "Here comes the demon girl." He spun me around and pulled me to him. "It's okay, she can't hurt you as long as we're here. This is our house." He conforted me. I smiled up at himn as Emmy came out to see what was happening. Kat and Andrew walked up to Josh, Emmy and I. "Kat, these are my best friends slash my family. Josh" He gestured to Josh. "Emmy" he pointed at Emmy. "and you already met Lilly." He smiled at me. "Emmy stuck out her hand "It's nice to meet you Kat."  "Hmph" Kat huffede and walked right past us into our house.

I grabbed Andrew as we followed her in. "We should go to the cabin, you, me, Josh and Emmy. She's a brat, and she is SO rude! Did you see her just ignore Emmy. Why would you even ever ask her out she is a total b****!" I whispered to him. "Maybe." He sighed. "Maybe. She isn't who I thought she was at first."

We went inside to see how Josh and Emmy were handling her.  It wasn't good.
