Double Differences

Chapter Five

We ran into the kitchen after hearing a scream. The scream had come from Emmy, who was being attacked by Kat. Josh was trying to save Emmy and he pulled the knife out of Kat's hand. Andrew ran over and ripped Kat off of Emmy. He tossed Kat onto the floor and pressed Emmy into the corrner in a protective way. Kat stood up and got another knife out if the stap on her leg. "Let me have her" She lunged at Andrew, who braced himself for the impact and the pain. "No!" I leaped at Kat, knocked her down and pinned her to the floor. She was struggling to get a good shot at me, but Josh stepped on her wrist so she couldn't get her shot at me. Andrew went over and took all of her weponds from her. Then he picked Kat up and tossed her outside. "How am I going to get home? I need someone to take me home." She gave Andrew a flirty look, and Josh stepped forward but I pulled him back. "Find your own way home." Andrew said in a snarl. I had never heard him sound like that. "You will never come back here. You will never hurt the people that I love, and that love me." He slammed the door shut on her.

"Well that was an event." Josh nervously laughed.

We all flopped down on the couch and started to relax. Andrew go up and turned the TV on. "What movie do you guys want to watch?" He asked. "How 'bout The Hunger Games." Emmy sighed. "We just had a mini one." she smirked at Andrew. "Thanks for bringing your girlfriend home. We love her." Josh said sarcastically. "Are you kidding me! She almost killed me!" Cried Emmy. "He was being sarcastic Em." I told her. "Oh... Well now I feel stupid." She mumbled. "Lil, never bring you boyfriend with you." Andrew said sternly. "He will be sleeping outside with the bears." He finished. "Alright, as long as you never bring a girlfriend with you here again." I decided "Deal." Andrew stuck his hand out and we shook on it.

The movie started playing and we quieted down to watch.

We were at the part where Katniss was in the woods with Gale, when Noah and a girl walked in. He was always bringing girls home, but they only ever stayed the night. "Oh... Hey guys..." He waved. "Umm... Amy and I are going to go upstares. So don't bug us." He took the girl's hand and lead her up the staires.

We looked at eachother with puzzled looks, then turned back to the movie.
