Chapter 3

'All I am is a man.

I want world in my hands.

I hate the beach, but I stand, in California with my toes in the sand.

Use the sleeve of my sweater, let's have an adventure. 

Head in the clouds but my gravity is centered.'

I tapped the alarm clock lightly so it would stop playing the music. I opened my eyes and looked up at my ceiling. Today I'm 16. I've been waiting for this day since I was 14.

I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to do my daily routine. I took my hair out my braid and let the waves flow down my back.

When I was finished in the bathroom I decided I should wear a dress. I went to my closet and picked out my blue and black dress. My dad helped me with this one.

The dress was aqua blue at the bottom and at the top was black lace. it fitted my tiny body perfectly, showing off my curves. I grabbed some black heals and slipped them on. I put on my dad's necklace and a ring I got from Jake.

I heard a hock and grabbed my backpack. I went down stairs to see Star Bucks coffee and a blue berry muffin on the counter, beside that was a note.

I walked to the counter and picked up the note.

~Dear my beautiful daughter, Nikki,

     I'm sorry I haven't been there as much with my job and everything but I have made plans tonight for just us. I will be there for you when you shift. I'm so excited for you to meet your mate! I don't care if you go out with your friends just make sure to be here at 10p.m. I love you baby. Happy birthday. Xoxoxo

I smiled. I'm glad she finally took some time off. I grabbed the drink and muffin and ran out the door, into the lamborgini.

"Well hello Ms. Beautiful!!", Jake said.

I blushed. "Thanks Jake."

"Well let's get going! We have to find your one and only loveerrr."

"Oh shut up Jake. I just hope it's not one of those jerks."

"Me too."

He drove us to school with silence. I got out of the car and heard alot of whistles and claps coming from guys. I ignored them because I was so nervous about finding my mate.

Jake took my hand and lead us inside. I stopped at my locker and took out my History book.

"Hey I'll see you when done.", Jake said.

"Okay bye"

I closed my locker once I put my backpack in. I turned around and smelt the most amazing scent ever. I followed the scent. It lead me down the hallway through the double doors of the p.e. room. There stood Justin and his friends in in a group playing basketball with their shirts off. Mate. Was all my Wolf was saying.

'Go to Justin'

As I knew it I was walking toward Justin and he was walking towards me. I stopped. I was breathing nervously.  I looked into eyes and saw passion, and love. I hope he would accept me.

Justins POV

I asked my buddies if they wanted to go play basketball before p.e. actually started.

" Hey guys you want to go shoot some hoops? "

"Yea."

"Yea."
