Chapter 6

Elijah's POV

I heard the front door open. Great someone's here to see me.

I heard my door open to my office and saw Jake.

"Hey man, what's up?", I asked.

"We were running the boarder and we came across a girl. She smells like you and she asked for you.", he said nervously.

A familiar smell came off of Jake. My wolf went crazy and wanted to find the girl that we had saw tonight. I took a wiff off the air and smelt her downstairs.

I jumped out of my chair and ran down the hallway down the stairs and followed to where the smell was coming from. There stood a beautiful girl that had the same smell as the girl wolf. She wasn't like beautiful to where I wanted to like do her, but beautiful like she waw my.....family?

I ran towards her and stopped at stared at her. She didn't look at me for a while. I stared at her until she looked up. I felt a wave of love. I felt whole. She's my sister. She had to be. I felt the need to protect her from everything.

Why was I feeling like this. I had no real family. But was she my long lost sister or something?

Without me realizing what I was doing I picked her up and hugged her tightly. She wasn't hugging me back for a bit but when she did she hugged me tighter.

I put her down and stared at her.

"Whats your name?", I asked.

"My name is Nikki, Nikki Wells."

So she was the wolf that I saw.

"Are, we like....related or something? Did you feel that connection that I just had?!", I asked.

"Listen, I came here for a reason and yes I did feel a connection."

"Why did you come here?"

"Can we speak somewhere privately? "

"Sure"

I grabbed her hand and led her up stairs to my office. I sat us down on the couch and took a deep breath. She smelt weird.

"If you don't mind me asking, are you in heat or something?", I asked.

"Yeah I guess but I don't feel anything. Everyone says theres pain but I just don't feel it yet I guess. Why is it bothering you?", she said while scooting away.

"No no no. it's not like I'm drawn to it. Just that there are a lot of unmated pack members and you just smell kinda weird to me but not in a bad way. I just feel the need to protect you."

"Oh well yeah I guess I started going into heat before I shifted."

"Hmmm that's stranger so what did you need to talk to me about?"

I looked at her. She looked nervous, and frightened.

"Hey, you can tell me anything. I won't hurt you.", I said trying to calm her down.

"Elijah...."

"Yeah?"

"You're my brother"
