I have woken up every day now in this virgin white room. The same fat free yogurt and soy toast sit on my bedside table. The same needle that is connected to me. I havent left the hospital, and after five days here I am ready to go. Very ready.

The nurses come in and out, and finally a doctor comes in.

But he doesnt even look at me.

"You can go now".

Keeping his eyes down,he unconnects the needle from my arm, and pulls up the restraints keeping me tied to the hospital bed. The stitched that were put into my arm is now being ripped out, and my food is pushed away.

Im free.

But not for long.

The doctor and nurse leaves me to get ready to leave to the mental-erm...helpful hospital.

I glance out my hospital window one last time. My eyes widen in realization. They were stupid enough to put me on the first floor, then leave me alone. I quickly slip on a long sleeved shirt and throw on some pants. I grab my sneakers and throw them on, not bothering to tie them.

I walk over to the hospital door and lock it. I grab the money my parents left for me, and grab some pills from the doctors drawer, just in case I need them.

With that, I unlock the glass window and pull it up. I have to use all my muscles for this action, but anything to be free. I jump out the window, and stand up and shut the window and lock it once again.

I look around at my surroundings. The birds chirping, the bright green grass. The trees swaying in the wind and the beautiful blue sky with fluffy white clouds. I am truly free.

I start walking. I have no clue where I am heading, but wherever it is it must be better than the...mental hospital.

After a couple hours of walking, I arrive at a park. I am somewhere in London, not that far from my home meaning I have to keep walking.

Hour after hour goes by, and I am finally far enough away from my once home for my liking.

There is no longer beautiful parks, and beautiful grass. There are tall buildings and allys.

What looks like an abandoned home is standing right in front of me, and its the only place I can sleep without getting yelled at.

I lay down on the hard concrete floor outside the door. I curl up in a ball and start shivering. No movement means coldness rushing into my body. I dont have a coat.

To pass the time I make little 'O"s in the air with my breath from all the cold.

All of a sudden I hear footsteps coming my way, and I stand up to run. Theres a young-looking figure coming my way, and he looks handsome.

I stay frozen in my position, even though deep down I know it my decison to not run could be fatal.
