It took us a whopping 56 minutes to finish our hair and make-up. After that we put on earrings and accessories and had a huge fashion show. I wore the mint green dress I bought over the summer along with a pair of bow earrings and a simple necklace with a bird charm on it. I even curled my hair! I looked fabulous! But Claire, she looked like a teen Cover Girl! She had on a navy blue dress with small white polka dots. The sleeves were sorta ruffly and the hem of the dress was just above her knees. It was so her. Not to showy but not completely covered. I wore a pair of strappy high heels and Claire told we that I was definitely going to fall on my face, but i ignored her. She wore these really cute wedged sandals that had white lace on them, they were super cute!
Anyways, we had a huge photo shoot at the end. Here are some of our pictures!
I insisted on taking a bunch of pictures of Claire because I needed to work on my photography. I signed up for a class this year, and I intend to do well.
6:15 A.M. rolled around and we grabbed are purses. I would have tripped sneaking down the stairs if it weren't for Claire grabbing my arm. She gave a look that said,
I told you not those heels.
I'm fine, I just haven't worn them for a while. I replied with my own glare.
We walked out of the front door to her Toyota Camry. Of course Claire had a car, while my parents were still "on the edge" about it. Her parents trusted her with a car. She'd never gotten drunk, or even gone to a party where there were drinks. Except weddings and formal stuff like that, but those don't really count. She got behind the wheel and I took shotgun. Off to school we go!
