After a while the sun began to set. I made sure everything was perfect before I snapped a bunch of photos. After taking the pictures, I set my camera next to my hoodie and shoes.I walked along the beach for a while with the waves lapping at my feet. I bent over and brushed my fingers over the water. I ran dragging my fingers in the water and splashed and danced and enjoyed myself. I waded in further rolling up my pant legs as I went. I almost tripped over my own two feet and laughed. I stumbled back onto the sand, my jeans were soaking wet from my knees down. I giggled and thought of my mother who was probably going to kill me for staying out so late.
But my happy moment was rudely interrupted by the sound of an engine. I turned to see a motorcycle dirt bike thing coming straight towards me. I frantically ran over to my belongings tripping a few times. The motorcycle kept getting closer. I could barely make out the figure of a teenage boy because the headlights were so bright. I made a quick dash and grabbed my stuff right before the motorcycle raced past me, kicking up dirt and spitting towards me.
"Hey!" I screamed. "Watch where you're going!"
"Don't be such a beach!" the boy said looking back at me. He seemed to be wearing a leather jacket, typical. But the thing that got my attention was his eyes glimmering back at me.
Where had I seen those deep green eyes before?
