"What is that!?"

Everyone left the house that day and I was left alone with Mina, the newborn member. "It won't take too long, we'll be right back!" Nayeon said before leaving. "It'll be fun!" Dahyun said excitedly, waving her tiny hands. "Take care of her, uh?" Jihyo told me. I sighed.

The moon was full that night and I could hear the werewolves howling. Mina was in trouble. I was in trouble, the leader told me to look after Mina. "YOU CAN'T KILL SOMEONE ROUND HERE TODAY!" I whisper-yelled at her, watching her drop the dead body against a tree. "Why not?" Mina asked, a little louder than usual as the howls got louder. "It's a full moon! Don't you know about the werewolves!?" I felt like I could grab her by her very tight, sexy, black shirt and punch her.

"No one told me anything!" Mina defended herself, her eyes widening. I snorted. How could Jihyo not tell the freshman about important things? Did they leave everything to me!? "I was hungry! And that guy was stepping in our land!"

Ignoring her words, I took her by the wrist and told her to run. As fast as she could. Seconds later, we were both in our living room. "Can you tell me about the werewolves?" I heard Mina asking, her voice now a bit shy.

"Well..." I started but howls were heard again. Rolling my eyes, I was mentally cursing at them and also the girl standing infront of me. "Are those their howls?" She questioned again, bringing her finger up to her lips to wipe the rest of the blood that was still left at the corner of her mouth, making me almost lose words.

"Yes..." I said nodding my head slightly, "They are just horny, hairy dogs though..." I shrugged my shoulders."What do you mean?" Mina was getting more curious at each sentence I said. "Werewolves are like dogs in heat on full moon days" I purposefully spoke louder this time, just to hear the howls getting louder. I chuckled and Mina's eyebrows furrowed.

"They never bother us vampires and sometimes can be really useful, actually." A smirk took my lips and I saw Mina nodding, eyes widened. "But that's not what we're here to talk about. Many years ago an old leader made a deal with an old werewolf leader that on full moon nights vampires wouldn't kill anyone around here. And we respect this deal, that's why you made a mistake."

"I'm sorry..." Mina said. "How's the relationship between vampires and them now?" "Both of us live in this area, it's the better place for both clans. We must respect each other. And we do. At least most of the time." I told her.

"And..." Mina put a lock of her hair behind her ear before she spoke again. "What do you mean they are... useful?" I answered less awkwardly then I thought I would. "They're horny dogs. We're vampires. Both alone in the forest... You know!" I didn't finish leaving her imagination to fill in the blanks. She nodded. "Got it!" She giggled. "But stay away from them!" I added. "They're no good!"

After an hour of just sitting in the room in awkward silence Mina got up to look at one of the paintings on the wall as she spoke to me. "So I have to stay with you until Jihyo, Dahyun and Nayeon get back?" Mina turned and looked at me, her red hair like curtains to her dark eyes.

"Why? Am I boring you?" My question got her by surprise and I chuckled. "No! I didn't mean it like that it's just..." She stopped. Wondering if she should say what she was going to say next. "What?" I stood up and took a step closer to her.

"We don't talk much, I don't feel totally comfortable with you yet..." The silence between me and Mina was quick, but thick. Her gazing eyes only ever to leave mine if she needed to blink. Her lips were parted, revealing her unsteady breath.

Since the first day Mina walked in the house, my inner peace was gone. Her slim body dressed in tight black clothes. Her always red lips that matched her red, dyed hair. The way she would talk, giggle and smile. All of this put together and she may as well have killed me. I liked her. I had a slight crush on her.

Slightly touching her by the side of her cold neck, I leaned in and kissed her lips. First, she didn't move. Second, she parted her mouth slightly, allowing me to enter her mouth and touch her tongue. Finally, Mina placed her hand on my waist, kissing me back.

Not even in my dreams did I imagine her lips being that soft. Slowly moving away when air was needed, I looked straight into her eyes. "Are you feeling more comfortable now?" I playfully asked, watching Mina smirk a second before pulling me back in for another kiss.
