Mina's POV

We lay in bed in silence both lost in our own minds for the half of that night. We had to leave that night anyway so began to pack up so we could make it back to the woods by dawn. The blood in the kitchen was packed up ready... I was in Jihyo's room packing my clothes... Y/n was in our room packing her clothes... As long as we were done in 10 minuets we would make it back to Edge House by dawn.

The thought I brought up last night still chilled us both. What if we all felt this and everyone oppressed it for some reason. It was on my mind and I'm sure it was on hers too.

I was ready in the living room in front of the door with my bag and the blood bag from the kitchen. I saw Y/n walking down the stairs with her bag ready on her back. Her hand was raised counting with her fingers as she listed each item on her list. "I've got my bag on my back and it's the same for you. We'll carry the blood bag between us and I've got the keys to lock up. After we get back we'll need to report to Christian, give him the keys and then we can head home."

Y/n's POV

My words were carried out and we were stepping into Edge House to greet everyone after our trip. Jihyo took the blood bag to the kitchen as the other two patiently waited for us to take our bags off so we could hug. I hugged Nayeon first as she was in front then swapped with Mina to hug Dahyun. Dahyun and I pulled away and we began to have a short conversation about how we were while Mina was hugging Jihyo. After they pulled apart, I took my turn to hug our Head House Leader.

As we pulled apart Jihyo held me by the shoulders and said "Something isn't right... Sit down and tell us." Nayeon and Dahyun were already seated on one sofa with Mina sat on the one opposite. Jihyo guided me to sit next to Mina and I gave my girlfriend a look of 'should we actually tell them?' while Jihyo was sitting down. She nodded to me. We have to do this.

We started at each other while the other three started at us waiting. I took a deep breath in through the nose and let it out with the word "Well.."

Mina's POV

Y/n began to tell the girls all about what I'd thought of and said to her the night before. Although I could hear their vocal reactions, like agreeing "uum"'s or the silence that followed after something important Y/n had said, I was scared of what they'ed think and wanted to know as little as possible. I kept my head tucked down. Eyes glued shut. Hands fidgeting constantly.

-----------------------

Y/n's words seemed to go on for ages but once they ceased, I had the courage to open up my eyes. My head didn't tilt up. I simply moved round my pupils in an attempt to see the others reactions. It didn't work so I looked back to my lap. Looked back to my knotted hands. Looked back straight through my nerves.

Jihyo taught me in our final lesson that vampires don't like to talk about their history. The only reason they do is so they can teach young vampires. The cruelty Humans put us through makes it a taboo subject to talk about beyond a newborns lessons. This was a serious risk to tell them but we trusted them and they trusted us. After all, they asked.

A long pause later and with thoughts raging round my head, my eyes shot us for the first time as the figure in front of me darted up to a standing position. All four pairs of eyes followed Jihyo's steps. All eyes followed round the sharp corner. All eyes followed down the straight leading towards the main corridor. All eyes followed as she disappeared out of view.

We all stared at each other. Waiting for one of us to tell the others what type of look she had on her face. Whether it was confused, angry or upset. When silence ensued, we all knew each others answers. The answer was that no one knew.

Mine, Y/n's and Dahyun's visions faded back into our laps but Nayeon's went towards the room we'd all presumed our previous leader had gone to. Her footsteps shortly followed Jihyo's previous one's and the number of pairs of eyes watching fell down to 3. Soon the eldest disappeared round the corner too.

"We need to do something about this..." My eyes darted to the voice. They were met by Dahyun's as she repeated herself, clearly understanding that we needed a repeat. "We need to do something..." "Like what?" Y/n sorrowfully replied. "I should never of brought up this here... I should of kept it between me and Mina..."

"No!!" Dahyun was up on her feet with her fists powerfully on her hips. "This is a mutual feeling, trust me, and it's not something we can run away from forever!!" "...sh- she is kinda... right..." I sheepishly add with my head tucked into my shoulders and my hands glued together in a prayer motion with the backs of them sealed tightly to the inside of my thighs.

Y/n's eyes seemed hopeless. She was the newly appointed leader but even this would stump Christian, the longest vampire leader there has ever been. Only the mind of a naive child would have any idea of what to do now and still they wouldn't have the expertise to carry out their plans. However, as we don't even have plan right now, the mind of a naive child would help. We didn't exactly have it... but we had the closest thing to it...

Dahyun.

She stood in the middle of the room, hands still on hips and matching back and forth like a chief soldier in a comedy sketch. "Our overall aim should be to have our own town in the human world!! Perhaps the one at the bottom of this mountain?" She looked directly into my eyes and shrugged her shoulders whilst raising her eyebrows. I copied her action to silently respond a 'Maybe...'

She stopped pacing and stood yet again in-between us. She let out a deep sigh and let her arms rest either side of her body before she began again. Her usual bright smile whipped off of her face to be replaced with a serious yet sympathetic one. "There are many steps we need to take to get there and our first one..."

Her head cocked towards the corridor the other members of the household had previously walked down. Mine and Y/n's eyes creeped round to look too.

"We need a team..."

--------------------------------

HEY!! Ik I haven't been back for a while I've been suffering from my anxiety quite badly recently and have been more focused on getting better. I hope you understand.

I am really happy now though as I know EXACTLY where this book is going and EXACTLY how it's going to end!! This hopefully means I can start making more chapters sooner. (p.s. this doesn't mean the book is going to end soon I just had no idea how I was going to end it before this chapter...)

Thanks again xx
