Full Moon (Mina × Reader)

Chapter 2 ~ Clans

It has been only a few minutes since Mina and I decided to stop kissing. Yet Jihyo, Dahyun and Nayeon walked back into the house. Their faces were all stressed, worried and pale. Dahyun and Nayeon put the stuff in their hands down and started to talk about what was stressing them as Jihyo came over to me.

"Y/n... Someone's killed someone..." Jihyo started and you finished her sentence. "And someone forgot to warn Mina about the werewolves!" Jihyo, Dahyun and Nayeon all froze. Silence fell upon the room. No could tell what anyone was thinking. That was till Mina spoke. "I'm sorry..."

There it was again. The silence. This time Jihyo would break it as she turned to look at me, complete panic filling her eyes. "What do we do?" She whispered to me. Sometimes I wondered how Jihyo ended up being the leader. It was always me to solve the problems in this house.

"Simple..." I started. "We own up..." Silence was there however it wasn't as awkward as the other silence. Everyone understood. "Anyway... We're all partly to blame..." Jihyo let her eyes fall to her feet. She understood where I was coming from. She started to play with her fingers as she spoke. "I should have warned you as our house leader..." "I should have asked where you were going before letting you out..." I added. There was a short silence. "I shouldn't have killed someone..."

We all turned to Mina to see her fiddling with her fingers by her chest just staring at them. I placed my hand gently over her hand to get her attention. I announced to the room. "Come on! Let's go before they find the body..." Everyone nods in agreement and Jihyo then gave further instructions as our house leader. "Dahyun... Nayeon... Look after the house while we are gone..." She paused before saying the next bit. "Remember... We may not ever get back..."

Everyone nodded and looked to the floor as me, Jihyo and Mina all left the house. All holding hands in hope.

They make it to the Wolf clan and they are all now sitting in front of their leader.

"What do you wish to see me for? I head it was about the 'pact of the full moon'..." None of us knew how to start. Mina and I looked at Jihyo as she is our house leader we expected her to start but when she didn't, I just started. "Jihyo here." I said pointing to her on my left. "She is our house leader and she needed to leave with other members of our house. Leaving me and our newest member of the clan. Mina." I said pointing to my right this time where Mina was sat.

"Jihyo hadn't yet taught her about the 'pact of the full moon'... She asked me if she could leave and I agreed. She left and I secretly followed her out." I was about to carry on but Mina panicked and cut me off. "

"I KILLED SOMEONE ON THE NIGHT OF THE FULL MOON BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE PACT! I'MREALLYSORRYIJUSTDIDN'TKNOW....." Silence... Mina had her feet up on the chair with her knees up to her chest and her head in her knees. She was crying. Jihyo spoke as I comforted Mina by placing one hand on her knee and the other rubbing small circles on her back. "We wanted to come and admit it to you before you found the body and blamed someone innocent." Jihyo took a deep breath out before carrying on.

"Mina now understands what she did wrong. I admit that I should have told Mina the first lesson I had with her. Finally, Y/n admits that she should have asked where Mina was going or what Mina wanted to do before letting her out... We are all partly to blame..." Mina finally removed her head from her legs and placed her feet on the floor, revealing her face.

The clan leader of the werewolves, Jason, just sat there in shock. He had no idea what to say. He opened his mouth and closed it again a couple of times causing us all to look up at him. When we did this he finally spoke. "Wait outside a few minutes... Let me speak to the secondary..." We all nodded and got up to leave.

We sat in the same order as we had in the room but on three of the five chairs neatly lined up outside the room next to the door. Jihyo pushed her head straight back so it gently hit the wall. She stayed that way, obviously thinking something over but she clearly didn't want to talk. So I didn't ask. Mina cuddled into my side, buried her head into my neck and began to cry. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders.

She had placed her hand over my leg. I was tempted to take her hand in my own and interlock our fingers. Even though Jihyo was sitting right to the other side of me, she seemed to be in her own world so I would doubt that she would even notice. I thought about it again and again... So I did it. I felt Mina shift slightly so she was more comfortable and I felt her squeeze my hand back. I smiled.

We stayed like that for the few minutes that was required by Jason, then we were called back in. We got up and moved into the room. Again, sitting in the same order. Jihyo to my left, me in the middle and Mina to my right. Silence at first... Then Jason spoke...

"We checked the rules on the pact if it was broken... They said that..." He paused and sighed... It had to be bad news... "All vampires that break the pact must die." We all looked at Jason in complete horror. I felt Mina's had immediately grab mine under the table and squeeze it as hard as she could. Jihyo had definitely taught her the only way vampires can die then.

If we are stabbed with a sacred blade we will definitely die. However, it would take days. As long as a week... With an open wound... As a vampire you would die in agony. It's the whole reason that one of the first lessons we teach new vampires. We tend to scare them into being careful. None of us wanted to go that way. We were all fearful of our lives. I was also worried for Mina. She's only been a vampire for 2 weeks and I've only just kissed her and held her hand.

We all just froze...

Not knowing how to react...

We were basically just told that we would die...

Until he spoke again...

"But there is another side to it..."
