“He's your mate and you just walked away?” Luna asked, laughing and I nodded, grinning ear to ear.
“I sure did,” I said and she sighed, shaking her head.
“So what are you going to do next with Mr. Hottie,” Luna said, wiggling her eyebrows and I smirked.
“Oh, I'm going to have a little fun,” I said. “I'm guessing he's a player anyway. So he will be up to the game.”
She snorted. “I'm betting that you are both going to lose,” she said and I looked at her, raising my eyebrows.
“What?” she asked, trying to act innocent.
“What do you mean by that?” I asked.
She sighed. “Fine, I’ll give you an example,” she said before placing her hands on her heart. “Oh, please. I need you right now Jacen.”
“Wait, so you’re saying that we are going to give into each other at the same time? Why because of sex?” I asked and she snorted out laughing and I giggled. “You just snorted.”
“Whatever,” she said, rolling her eyes. “Anyways, that is not the point. The point is that neither of you are going to win this. You’re both stubborn. Well I know you are and Jacen is an alpha. So he probably is too.”
“Oh so you don’t think I can win this?” I asked and she shook her head.
“No, no that’s not what I'm saying,” she said. “It’s just having a mate isn’t something you can fight.”
“And how do you know this,” I asked and she looked away.
“I just do,” she croaked and I tilted her chin so she looked at me, tears in her eyes.
“What's wrong?” I asked.
“Nothing,” she whispered.
“Uh, uh, something is wrong,” I said and she sighed.
“Jake is my mate,” she mumbled. “And he rejected me.”
“What,” I screamed/ growling.
