Chapter 8

The rest of the S-class and I stood in the recording room in silence as we watch Ichinose Tokiya perform his song.

Yeah the idols had to perform a song given to them by Hyuga-sensei and well the composer‘s didn't really have much of an assignment, we just had to look at old lyrics and break them down and read them and stuff.

Hyuga-sensei was standing in front of us with his arms folded the entire time and that same scowl on his face since he called Tokiya up to perform.

Does he like not like Tokiya or something? I thought. Or is it because Tokiya just sings. 

That's something I don't like about him, he'll sing and yeah his voice is good and all but like Hyuga-sensei has said before,

It has no heart.

Once the music finished, Tokiya took a moment before taking off his headphones, turning his head to us and waiting for Hyuga's response with that same blank look he always wore.

That also annoys me! Tokiya never has a smile on his face!

"The rhythm and pitch followed the score." said Hyuga-sensei. "The vocal balance was also very good. Pure perfection. However..."

Oh shit, here it comes.

"This is no place to be mastering proper singing." said Hyuga. "Your goal is to become an idol. You've been in this school for three months now, and despite my repeated admonitions, you haven't changed a bit. I told you this before. There's something that your songs lack. Heart."

I CALLED IT! 

"I think it's high time..." started Hyuga again causing me to give him a slightly confused look. High time? What does he mean? "Ichinose Tokiya, I can't let you stay in this class any longer."

"What?" I whispered to Syo next to me.

"Is he actually dropping him from the S-class?" Syo whispered back to me but it seems he was more asking Hyuga-sensei.

I looked over; seeing everyone looked kind of shocked accept Ren. Wonder why?

I looked back over at Tokiya only to see that same dead expression with only a slight hint of shock and anger. 

For some reason I felt sorry for him, but I also didn't in a way, you know? 

I honestly don't know why. I'm not mean am I? I mean-

"All right class," started Hyuga-sensei as he turned around to face us. "You don't have anymore assignments until next week. So practice hard. For now, you’re dismissed."

And with that, everyone left the recording room. 

I let out a sigh as I made my way to Ren's room.

This is kinda awkward isn't it? I mean I'm not actually that good friends with him and I want to go set him up with one of my friends? Oh well this might turn out good! But it might turn out bad....

 Knock knock.

"Come in," I heard his smooth and I'm not gona lie, sexy voice through the door.

I opened the door, popping my head around seeing that it was only Ren in the room and not his roommate.

"Hey Ren," I smiled as I walked on in, making sure go close the door on my way in.

"Oh what a surprise, lady." he said as I walked over to him. "What can I do for you?"
