Chapter 9

---Miyuki---

"It's almost here," started Hyuga-sensei with a surprising smile on his face. "The long awaited, annual summer camp."

"Eh?” I questioned to Aoi who was sitting next to me. "Summer camp?"

"Yeah! Don't you know what it is?" asked Aoi with a confused tone to her voice.

"No..." I said trailing off. 

"Well listen to Hyuga-sensei! Hehe! He'll explain it and then you'll be as excited as me!"

I just gave Aoi a strange look before looking back to Hyuga-sensei.

"The location is," he started again. "A southern island resort!"

Gasp, smiles and cheers filled the room at the words.

Southern Island resort? I don't know what this summer camp is but a summer island resort sounds like paradise!

"The blue sea, white sand, waves breaking onto the shore, sweet wind... But!" he said, his voice a lot stronger when he said 'but'. "Don't get carried away. After you come home, it's your hour of destiny. It'll be time to decide the pairings of your graduation audition!"

I felt my eyes widen. 

Already? Has time really gone past so fast I didn't even notice? That mean I'll... have to make a decision...

"That's right." said Hyuga-sensei as he carried on explaining. "Pairs will be formed between idol course and composing course students, and you'll start walking at last towards your dream debut. I'm sure some of you have already decided whom you're going to pair with, but for those of you who haven't... This camp is your big chance to find the perfect partner!"

Perfect partner? I... I don't know what to do... How can I partner with Syo like this? And well in all honesty... there's no one else I'd really want to partner with.

"And that's why it's important, right? Everyone, choose your partner carefully... And I think you know this already... But remember, falling in love is forbidden."

I bit my lip. Believe me, I know that Hyuga-sensei. But still... how could I not have? I thought as I stared at the back of Syo's head as he was sitting in front of me.

His blond hair, those hats he always wears... his eyes... his smile.... everything.

"Everyone's got that, right?"

I got that but... It doesn't change the fact that I have already broken that rule.

I've fallen in love with Syo Kurusu.

I stared out around the scenery before me in disbelief.

It really is beautiful out here. I thought with biggest smile on my face. The sun, blue sky, green trees, that sparkling blue sea... oh god is this paradise or what?

"The purpose of this summer camp," started Hyuga-sensei pulling my out of my thoughts and bringing me back to reality. "Is to decide on the pairs for the graduation audition. The composer course and idol course... This is the perfect chance to determine whether partners are right for each other."

"Everyone," started Ringo-sensei. "Interact with each other and seek an appealing work. I pray you'll find the perfect match."
