***camp near malmalam thicket As usual, Noct is the last to wake up, the other guys are ready to get on with the day. Breakfast is made, Gladio and Prompto are sparring.
Noctis--- " trying to toughen him up, eh Gladio? "
Prompto--- "hey!" :/
Gladio--- "gotta keep him in shape somehow. " he lets out a deep laugh.
Promptos face hangs in shame, they always pick on the little guy.
Just that moment, Iris comes running up yelling---- "Prince, I mean king Noctis, Sorrow is gone!! "
Noct----"we can't worry about her right now, if she wanted to leave, so be it. How did you get here?"
She catches her breath, usually no one goes out without weapons to defend themselves from wild beasts.
Iris---"I can hold my own and- you don't understand, she needs to stay at your side." (She proceeds to explain what little information she got from the girl.)
Noct---"wait so she is a missing link and she needs to come? How did you manage to lose her? " appalled at the idea...
Iris--- "from what little I know, she plays an important role. Some how, some way. I just don't know what happened I woke up and she was gone."
Ignis---- "hmmm interesting, none the less, we do need to head to Cape caem. She will turn up eventually." He pushes his glasses up.
Prompto---" man thats so cool, a girl? Joining on our journey? we have to find her!" stars in his eyes and animated as usual.
Gladio-- "don't get too excited. We Don't know what her motives are at this point. If she is going to be part of the journey, she will most likely find us."
Noctis---" let's get going, she wouldn't fit in the reglaia anyway. I can't keep Luna waiting any longer. "
Seems like no one is worried.
Prompto---"wait, I can't just leave, not knowing if she's safe.... You guys go on ahead. I'll find her and meet you there. "
Noctis---" fine, be safe and be quick. "
Leaving Prompto behind, the rest go on ahead to Cape Caem, the boat to Altissia awaits.

**Prompto thinks to himself how helpless Sorrow must be, he looks up to the sky. It's noon now, hopefully plenty of time to find her.
Prompto----" probably should of thought about how far a walk to Cape Caem it is. Better re-rent a chocobo, gotta lot of ground to cover."
Searching everywhere around old lestallum, he decides to check north-west to the Ravatoghan trail. Doesn't hurt to to try, right?
Prompto---" yep a chocobo was definately a good idea. At this rate It'll be night before I find her. "
Following the road seems to be taking a long time... "Man, it's so hot out here!!!"
When he finally gets to the trail he hops off the chocobo, the terrain is too rocky. its now late afternoon,So it's best to scope out a safe place for the night just in case. He spots a camp called Lambath haven just in case.
He finds a grassy area where he sees sorrow, standing there, breathing in the air and looking at the view of the volcano in the distance. Her long silvery braided hair blowing softly in the wind. It must have been hours before he found her. He notices shes wearing a black shirt one sleeve off the shoulder, purple plaid skirt and knee high boots. Iris must have given her the clothes.
He blushes and pulls out his camera, this view is too beautiful not to capture. XD *click* *click* He turns the camera for a long shot.
Sorrow hears the camera and turns to see Promptos blue eyes watching her, he mouths "oh crap". She smiles slightly.
Prompto---- "uhhh.. erm.. there you are, I have been looking for you. I wanted to make sure you were alright. "
Sorrow--- "I wanted to take in this beauty before following you all. "
A sadness overshadowed the small smile she had toward him. The grass between them rustles in the breeze.
She continues---" I was held captive by someone, became a... trophy to him. This crystal has kept me alive for many years and I am ready for the chosen one to free me. Noctis..."
Prompto---" I don't understand..a trophy? That wont happen again, we will protect you, you will be safe with us."
From a short distance, Her emerald eyes looking intently into his, a glimmer of hope shines.
she speaks softly----"In time you will come to understand. I don't know what will become of me. But I want to enjoy this time, see the beauty of this world."
Prompto listens quietly. Pursing his lips questioning in his mind.
**Her eyes avert to behind Prompto, 2 saphyrtail scorpions attack. He stands in front of her, now he can show off his gun slinging skills--- - " don't worry I got this. "
He kills one with one remaining; but 3 more appear out of their burrows and Prompto is down for the count.
Prompto---"we're outnumbered and We should flee. " The sun is beginning to set and Prompto doesn't want to be there when the daemons come out. At night their only safety is at the camp haven.
Sorrow pulls him aside by the arm and whips out a long sword; swiftly killing the remaining 4 of them in 60 seconds flat. (After all this time shes still got it.)
Holy crap. Shock is definately showing on Promptos face and he even broke a sweat.
sitting near a large stone he says ----" woah, you definately know what your doing. Here I thought I would be protecting you." (His ego slightly smaller than before)
Sheathing her long sword she turns toward him about 8 feet away, the scorpions laid all about on the ground.
*** he looks at her embasrassed for underestimating. **
Slowly she steps closer toward Prompto, the sun now at the horizon, darkness is close, and daemons not far behind.
Sorrow---"un-shackled, I am not as helpless as you would think, but I am finding comfort knowing you are here with me."
She kneels to the ground in front of him, leans in close enough for him to feel her breathe on his cheek.
He gulps, her lips are so full XD---- 'oh my gosh' he thinks to himself. He breathes her in as she gets closer, his eyes widen...
She heals him with a potion and stands up not realising how up close and personal she just was.
Then they rush to the safe haven.
