SORROW:  I cannot see......this memory... The familiar darkness, oh no..I am not safe.They promised me, Iris and Prompto...

She screams long and hard.
"You promised me I would be safe!!!!! Someone help me!!"

Blindfolded her head is on the ground, arms tied tightly behind her back. she wriggles to try to get free, she has to get free before HE gets there. It seems like an eternity before she gives up and lays there.

She hears groaning in the same room that shes in.
"Prompto? Is that you?" She asks to the darkness.

"Sorrow....." he is so groggy and  attached to a mechanism with his arms up and body lifted. The mechanism is connected to a Magitek  suit.

"This is not my calling, nothing is going according to plan. I was supposed to stay by Noctis side. He has to purge the world of the daemons." She trembles.

Prompto opens his eyes and sees her laying helpless on the floor.

He immediately realises where they are. A testing facility within the imperial capital, Gralea.

"I'm so sorry, I wanted to protect you. It seems like I can't even do that...and now Noct blames me for lunas death. What if it is my fault?" Tears well up in his eyes.

"It isn't your fault Prompto. Her death isn't your doing...and  at least...were together.. I dont blame you. Noctis loves you as a brother, his mind must have not been in the right place."

"He wont come for me...Sorrow, I....escaped from here a long time ago and became refuge in Insomnia. I am not worthy of being saved...I'm not a hero, I'm not strong and I'm not royalty.  "

Sorrow gathers the strength to some how shove up to a sitting position.

" None of that matters, Your past or where you came from doesn't define who you are. Noctis will come for us."

"I don't know if he will..." he looks away.

She tries to stretch her arms to loop the retraints under her butt and fails, " ...You are kind and funny. You are compassionate toward humans and animals alike. That is someone special  and you matter to him...and also to me."

His head hangs down to look at her again but his blond hair falls in his face.

He thinks to himself: I have to survive, for Noct and for Sorrow.
"I wanted to make a difference, to change all of this. If we don't make it out,  I want you to know that I care for you deeply." He says feeling defeated.

She is finally able to stand, still unable to see she takes a couple steps foreward and her head hits Promptos chest.

" I am unable to get my hands free, but I want to be closer, you are very important to me too Prompto..."

"Sorrow, I remember you. I have kept it in all this time..I remember seeing a prisoner, chained and blindfolded. I knew the second I saw you. But how? It was over ten years ago..." A flashback of a vivid memory as a child running for his life runs across his minds eye. He remembers stopping and peering into an opening in a wall. And there she lay on a bed of hay.. Blindfolded and chained, neck, wrists and ankles.

His eyes refocus on the girl in front of him, seemingly unchanged..

she responds, "The crystal has kept me this way for a very long time...I can feel it, the crystal of Insomnia is Near..."

Prompto smells her hair as she presses against him.~~

Suddenly the crystal in her chest begins to glow, Sorrow groans... the glow becomes a ray of light. She screams, "It hurts!"  Again and again rays of red light leaves her. She falls to the ground gasping to breathe.
