~Cam~
"Sir, can you tell me how much longer the cab ride is to the corporation?"
"I don't know, maybe 5 minutes" he grunted out of annoyance, I just sat back and didn't bother saying anything else. We finally reached Highlander Corporation and let me tell you, it was not that much of a sight everyone's been raving about. Yes, it was big and tall but the design of the outside wasn't that pretty. That doesn't matter though I am here for one thing and one thing only. To fix a broken computer, and to go back to my desk at my job and peacefully eat my lunch.
"Hello how may I help you?" the front desk lady asked in a fake polite tone. I gave a mouthed smile and just replied.
"I'm Miss.Reynolds, I'm here to fix a broken computer." she looked at me shocked but quickly nodded and gave a small smile telling me where I needed to go. I sighed and walked to the elevator and to my surprise right after I pushed the button the doors came open and a rush of people came swarming out, one, in particular, caught my eye. Mason fucking Smith. He stayed in the elevator and was looking right at me.
"Oh my god this isn't happening. I thought I wouldn't have to see you anymore after high school."
"Why would you think that Cammy?" he said playfully nudging my shoulder. I smacked him on his arm and replied.
"Because, you fucking ruined everything in high school for me, turns out the guy I liked was gay but you made me believe he liked me, and at prom he went with another guy to have sex. You're a sick person and I never wanted to see you again, but I'm assuming you work here?" he chuckled a little while I was ranting but did nod when I said he worked here.
"No, I own the corporation, but thanks for the trip down memory lane. I really appreciated it, but if you don't mind I would really like for my computer to be fixed now." my mouth fell open right as those words fell out of his mouth. I pointed to him and myself while saying
"Y-your computer, I'm fixing your computer." he nodded and smirked while ruffling my hair. I slapped his hand away and he just laughed. By now everyone was staring at us, and what was going on. He then stopped laughing and told me to follow him to fix the issues he's been having, and I knew it was on the computer but I just had to have a snarky comment.
"Oh I'm not a doctor I can't fix all the problems you have, I can only fix computers." he glared at me while the other watching us chuckled probably scared of him, so me being me I just busted out laughing and soon enough the other did too. I smirked at him patted his shoulder and then I was dragged off somewhere. I assumed to the location of the broken computer.
"Here it is. Now fix it." I glared at him and then proceeded to do my job. I searched inside of his motherboard to find the problem and there was nothing.
"There's nothing wrong with your computer what the heck." he sheepishly looked away and chuckled.
"Yeahhh about that..iliedaboutthatjusttoseeyou."
"Excuse me?" he sighed
"I lied about the broken computer because I wanted to see you. I know we had a bad past but I don't want to take a trip down memory lane, I want to be friends Cam." I looked at him warily and just sighed.
"Fine. Meet me at the small diner near the high school we can talk and "be friends" again." I said waving goodbye as I wanted to go back to my office and most likely re-think my decision.
