After we got back from Liam's parents, we'd continued on with our regular week. He'd gone to work, and I'd go take him lunch and we'd eat in his classroom. There were still girls who'd try to flirt with him, as well as me. I really didn't know how to let them down gently. I felt bad but at the sam time I really didn't. While we were gone, Louis had gotten his stuff out and said he was going to move in with his boyfriend. I was going to miss him cause he was a really cool guy. But it was quieter around here. I was making dinner. I'd planned to make steaks, potatoes, and vegetables. Since Liam had a work day he had to be at work an took his own lunch, the semester was ending so he'd seemed stressed. I wanted to make it all better for him which was why I was cooking for him even though he was a much better cook.

I hummed quietly while stirring the vegetables. I'd put some seasoning on them so they had more flavor. I had the stereo playing pandora. The door shut, and I looked at the time. 4:53 pm. Liam's arms wrapped around my waist and he placed a kiss on my neck. I bent my neck to the side giving him more access.

"I missed you." I sighed as I continued stirring the vegetables.

"I missed you too. But after tomorrow, I've got ten full days for just you and I. I was thinking maybe we could go to this resort that's an hour away for a few days. It'd be nice."

"Sounds perfect, babe." I set the spoon down, and turned around placing a kiss on his lips. His hands were moving up and down on my hips.

"Mmm. I should have had you bring me lunch just for the kiss." I hit his chest playfully.

"If I'd done that you wouldn't be here til later, and we'd be eating a frozen pizza. I wanna make tonight good for you, you've been busy all week. Now go take a shower, dinner's going to be done soon." He pulled me in for another kiss but my cell phone started ringing. He backed away from me so I could go get my phone. "It can wait, Li." He shook his head.

"Just go get it, and I'll be in the shower." He pecked my lips before walking off to the bathroom. I sighed heading into the dining room picking up my phone off the table.

"Hello?"

"Niall!" I'd recognize that voice anywhere.

"Hey, mum." I smiled pulling out a chair to sit down.

"How've you been, dear?"

"Great! Liam and I are doing terrific too."

"Good to hear. Would you be able to come by next week?"

"I'll see. Liam had a plan to take me somewhere but what's going on?"

"We're just having a big family get together and I want you here. I can get your guys' plane ticket."

"I'll go. What day is it though?"

"Saturday. But I'll buy your tickets so you're here Friday."

"That sounds great. I'll call you later, alright? I think my dinner's burning." I heard her laugh on the other end.

"Would you believe it? Niall's cooking." I smiled. "I love you, bye!"

"Love you too." I ended the call setting my phone back down and standing up to go to the kitchen. The vegetables were done, and that was the last of it. I grabbed two plates putting a steak on each of them, and vegetables and potatoes. I set them down on the table and went to turn off the music.

"Niall!" Liam yelled from the bathroom.

"What?" I shouted back.

"I was listening to that!"

"Too bad. Now hurry up or I'm eating without you!" I'd laughed before heading back into the kitchen and grabbing us out utensils and the steak sauce from the fridge and setting them on the dining room table. I put ice and water in two cups and set them down on the table. Now all I had to do was light the two candles in the middle of the table up, and dim the lights in the dining room and it'd be perfect. I grabbed the lighter and lit the candles up, and then dimmed the light. Liam walked out with just a pair of sweatpants on and his hair in its usual quiff. He pulled me in for a hug and kissed me softly.
