About a week had gone by since I had first arrived at UNLV. I hadn't really made friends outside of Candice but I was okay with that. I figured with classes starting today, I was bound to make at least a few friends, right?

Along with classes starting, it was the first time I had actually seen Taylor come home at a decent time the night before and wake up before noon. Apparently a lot of the freshman knew each other because there were about 5 main high schools in the area, so obviously most students would end up here or one of the universities around here. Which majorly left me out of the loop. But as much as Taylor was on the phone, loudly I might add, I pretty much knew half of the campuses damn drama before everyone else did.

I got up about 10 minutes earlier than Taylor so I had time to shower without her bitching at me that "I was gonna take all the hot water" even though it has literally never happened before and I doubt ever will. She just wanted someone to attempt to boss around. Key word, attempt.

After my shower, Taylor hopped in after me so quickly I almost didn't have a chance to get out of the bathroom.

"Calm the fuck down, it's not going anywhere you know." I said as she shoved me out of the way to get into the bathroom.

"Some of us actually care about presentation, unlike you." She was referring to the way I rarely wore heavy makeup or truly did my hair.

"Really? You didn't seem to care about presentation in that drunk video of you." A few days ago, Taylor was at a frat party and got piss drunk. Apparently she started to dance but she tripped and her legs went flying into the air, showing the world her purple polka dot underwear. Someone got the whole thing on tape and I made an effort to try to bring it up whenever I could. I even got her bitch clones to laugh at one of my jokes when they stopped by here one day.

She just gave me a look and walked into the bathroom, nearly slamming the door on me. I decided to "actually care about presentation" today as Taylor would say, and took a little more time on my outfit, makeup and hair. I applied a thin line of black liquid eyeliner on my top lid and black pencil on the bottom. I used my nice mascara and even applied some blush. I decided to wear a black cardigan over a red Guns and Roses t shirt, light wash pants, and a pair of high top black Vans. In the middle of straightening my hair, there was a knock on the main door. I swear to god if Candice forgot her key again. I got up with half my hair straight, the other half frizzy, and opened the door.

"God damn it Candice I told you to check-" but it most definitely not Candice. There stood Sexy Styles in a half sleeved t shirt, dark jeans, and some brown boots. I had never seen a guy wearing them and it was oddly stylish. He looked up at me and looked as though he wasn't expecting me to open the door.

"Oh um.. hey. I'm looking for Taylor. She left her books at my flat and I figured she would need them before class. I didn't realize you were her roommate." As he talked to me, I couldn't help but notice the deep dimples set into his face at the same time I noticed his accent.

"Um yeah. I'm Taylors roommate Ali. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't mention it. She's actually in the bathroom right now if you want come in." I tried not to sound excited, but I couldn't help but be curious about the guy who willingly puts up with queen bitch herself.

"No it's okay, I'd hate to get in her way." Just as he said this, Taylor walked out of the bathroom in one of the smallest towels I think I've ever seen on a grown woman. Her cleavage was purposely hanging out of the skimpy towel and it showed so much leg, if she were to take too big of a step, you'd either see ass or vag.

"Hey baby! I thought we were meeting later." She batted her eyelashes and strutted up to him, pressing her body flush to his and took his lip into hers. I couldn't help but watch the ordeal. She obviously knew he would stop by, either that or she heard us talking. He couldn't be honestly buying this shit.

"Yeah we were, but you left your books at the flat, and the guys wanted to meet for coffee before first class." I realized that my presence was a tad bit awkward so I just shuffled back into the room leaving them in the hall.

I went back to finishing my hair, and after a few minutes, Taylor walked in with her books and began getting dressed. She looked normal except for the now prominent hickey on her neck.

"Wow Taylor, very classy."

"What the hell are you talking about freak." She looked irritated like I should be mute or something.

"Your neck, bitch." I had finished my hair and was grabbing my book bag when she looked at herself in the mirror, gasping. "What a perfect way to start out the first day."

I walked out of the room and across the small hall to Candice's room, knocking. We hadn't arranged anything but I was hoping we could walk to class together. I had pretty much memorized the campus by now but it still would have been nice to have someone to walk with.

After a few seconds of waiting, it was clear she wasn't home. I let out a sigh as I walked out of the main door and into the main hallway. Some girls were leaving already and offered me small smiles. After grabbing a coffee and finally finding the building where my first class was, I kept having thoughts of this whole thing failing. I tried to push out the negative thoughts as I climbed the steps to Chemistry 101 and officially began my college experience.
