Chapter 24

"So you can?" I ask and she nods. "Since I am old enough, I can go with you guys." Angela says and I nod. "Alright, lets go." I say and we take her car. I sit in the back, staring out the window as Angela and Harry burst into conversation about something. My dad was murdered, my grandma is a suspect, someone is tracking us, this is all so bizarre. I must of had some look on my face because the next thing I know, Harry is tapping my knee. I look at him and his intense green eyes are staring at me, his eyebrows drawn together. "Are you alright Em?" He asks and I nod. "Just thinking." I say, smiling and he nods slightly and turns back to Angela.
I get out of the car and go to the front door. I take a big breath before I open the door. I go inside and am met by Liam. "Emma." He says, hugging me. I smile slightly and look up at him. "Is she here?" I ask but he shakes his head. "She is at work." He says and I nod. I turn and Harry and Angela are walking in. He looks at Liam and his eyes go wide. "Harry?" He asks and I look from Liam to Harry. "You two know each other?" I ask and Liam nods. "W-what are you doing here?" Harry asks and I step away from Liam. "Harry, calm down." Liam says and I watch him. "Harry, what's going on?" I ask, glancing at him. He looks at me and then his eyes go back to Liam. "Angela, we are going back to your flat." Harry says in a panicked tone and I grab his arm. "Harry, what's wrong?" I ask and his eyes flicker to Liam. "He killed our aunt." He says, his eyes dark. He turns and basically pushes Angela out of the door. My eyes are wide and I turn to Liam and he steps toward me. "Emma." He says but I step back. "You killed my aunt?!" I shout and he flinches, taking a step back. "Allegedly!" He exclaims and I move past him, dodging his outstretched hands. "Don't touch me! You deserve to be in jail!" I shout, going up to my room. When I didn't think things could get worse, they did.
