Chapter 10

The next day I get up and Liam is in the kitchen. "Hey." He says when he turns and see me. "Hi." I say, yawning and rubbing my eyes. I sit down and he sits across from me. "So, what do you want to do today?" He asks and I shrug. "Maybe go to the mall so I can get more of my art supplies." I say, lying my head on the table. "Okay, get a shower and I will too and we can go." He says and I nod. I get up and go upstairs. I grab my long sleeved shirt and shorts and undergarments and go to take a shower.
We get in his car and we buckle up and he pulls from the driveway and drives away. "So the mall, what do you want to do after that?" He asks and I smile. "Get some food, I am starving." I say and he smiles slightly. "Probably should have made breakfast." He says and I laugh. "Yeah but at least we get to have lunch." I say and he nods, laughing.
We pull up to the mall and I unbuckle and get out. We walk inside and I pull him over to the art store and we go inside. "Hello!" The pretty blonde girl behind the register says and I smile. "Hi." I say, walking down an aisle. I look through the paints and then the charcoal and stencils. "See anything you want?" He asks and I nod. I pick up all of the stuff I looked at and go over to the cash register. She rings them up and Liam pays and we leave. "Want to get a bathing suit?" He asks and I shrug. "I don't really like to be exposed." I say and he laughs. "I bet you have a beautiful body, come on." He says, grabbing my hand and pulls me toward the summer store.
I try on the polka dotted bikini and I hesitantly step out. "How does it fit?" He asks and I nod. "It's perfect." I say and he smiles. "This one." He says to the lady and she nods and takes his credit card and I go back into the little changing room and change back. I bring the bathing suit with me and she rings it up and bags it and hands it to me. We leave and I look at him. "Why do I need this?" I ask and he smiles. "Later we will go swimming, if you want to." He suggests and I shrug. "Come on, I will protect you from anyone." He says and I smile. "Alright but first up, eating." I say, laughing and he smiles.
We finish eating burgers at McDonalds and we head to the pool. "We have to wait an hour." I say and he nods. After waiting an hour I go change and walk back out, setting my towel on the chair. I dive into the pool and pop my head up. I am swimming around for a little when everyone gasps. I look up and they are looking in the pool. I turn and gasp. The pool is red. I had just started my period. Everyone starts laughing and Liam walks out and mouths 'oh no' and runs over and pulls me from the pool. He wraps my towel around me and I bite the inside of my lip. "Liam Payne?" A uniformed officer asks and Liam raises one hand. "Yeah?" He asks and he pulls his gun out. "Step away from the girl and put your hands above your head." He says and he steps away from me, doing as told and I look at them. "What is this for?" I ask and he walks toward Liam. "He raped a teenage girl." The officer says and my eyes widen. "What?" I ask and he nods. "Dawn Levington." He says and I gasp. "No, he didn't!" I exclaim and the officer reads him his rights and handcuffs him. He looks at me as he is hauled to the patrol car. I just stare at him, shivering.
